Hotel Review of Sterling Resorts- Mussoorie
Comments: The location of the resort is breathtaking. The rooms below the ground level and had to climb up. it takes the wind out. wish it is like the elk hill at ooty which has got an lift which goes down.the serice is good and good and reasonable rates. the view is spellbing.
Best Experience: the rooms face the doon valley and the night view is just fantastic. very calm, away from the crowded city. really a place to rest and enjoy the serenity of the mother nature.a walk around the sterling is secenic.
Worst Experience: the only bad experience is climbing the stair cases. a request to allott a suite near the reception had no response. me being a heart patient and undergone by-pass surgery had to suffer a lot.had to check out a day early to avoid further suffering.

Even though the Resort is located with very good views, the approach road is riddled with potholes - also road is narrow fit for one vehicle in some stretch - got to reverse for any one vehicle. For fit persons its good exercise going to the rooms/reception. Persons having Arthritis, knee-joint problems have to be careful, for it may prove to be a problem to climb. We had gone to Mussorie In June'05. The weather was just right. The location of the place made our stay in Mussorie a pleasant one. Otherwise there is nothing much to rave about Mussorie. Almost all the rooms have valley view, but need to be maintained. Maybe just a coat of paint and polish will make the rooms more inviting. The only drawback I found in the resort is the climb down to the rooms and back to the Front...

This was our honeymoon trip. We had an exhiliarating experience at Mussoorie. We got an apartment with the Hill-side view. The view was really breath-taking. The weather was very pleasant and we spent lot of time outdoors during the days. The nights were slightly cold but nice for romance. We visited Company Bagh, Kempty falls and Mussoorie lake. Overall it was the best holiday in my life....

The quality of the room was appalling with peeling walls, decrepit furniture and a terrible view of unpainted roof tops. It was rather like a room in a cheap lodge which i could have rented for 200 Rs a day. Moreover we had to climb 200 steps just to get out of our room into the reception...
