Pappukutty Beach Resort Reviews

My overall experience was just terrible. The rooms were never cleaned throughout my stay of 4 days at the resort, even after reminding/requesting them so many times. There was no proper hot / cold water in all the bathrooms, the A/C was not functioning properly and the food was not up to the mark.I request everyone not to select this resort for your stay at Kovalam!!!

Best Experience: The only good experience about this resort is the location - right in front of the sea along the shore.

Worst Experience: The rooms are never cleaned even after requesting them on daily basis due to which we were forced to stay in the dirty/messy rooms throughout our stay.No proper hot/ cold water in the bathroom

had a bad experience in the hotel ,there was leakage in the ac especially in the big rooms,then service was bad ,it was not managed properly, food was pathetic.The only thing good about the place was the hotel was in front of the beach.

The location of the hotel was simply marvellous. Right on the beach. We visited Kovalam last in 2007. That time we stayed in Hotel Sea Rock. Another hotel that was located ideally. Bang on the beach. But the experience of staying at that hotel was marred by poor and selective service provided by the staff there. Please read my review of that hotel for more details. However Pappukutty was something else. Excellent location. Superb ambience. Terrific amenities. I am running out of superlatives here. The hotel provides all this at a very economic tariff. May I tell you that their restaurant is no great shakes. But then it is only designed to meet the minimum requirements of the guests who stay in the hotel. Tea, coffee, breakfast, simple meals, that is about all. Most of their guests anyway prefer other more elaborate restaurants for main meals. The room service has been designed to be least obtrusive. Do not expect to be treated like kings there. It does the task. No more, no less. The swimming pool is located at a central location, in the midst of the main courtyard. Easily accessible, it is very inviting to all, be it swimmers or non swimmers. On the whole an ideal vacation with great stay, great hospitality and great experience.

Pappukutty is excellent resort in Kovalam with clean & spacious rooms . The staff is friendly specially the GM Mr Sujakumar is very helpfull

Best Experience: Mr Sujakimar had made our stay arrangement at the houseboat in ALLEPPY a unforgattable trip which we really enjoyed

Best Experience: we were in the swimming pool almost for about 8hrs in a day....and the water was so clean and bacterail free...enjoyed alot

Worst Experience: nothing bad...just my room was a bit backside from the beach view...otherwise it waas super duper fun!!
