Hotel Review of Jungle Lodges K Gudi Wilderness Camp
Comments: Total jungle experience.
Best Experience: The surroundings....you feel totally disconnected from civilization. Monkeys play around your rooms. The safaris lasts for more than 2 hours.
The people at the lodge make every effort to make you comfortable.
Worst Experience: Food could have been better. But I'm a veggie. May be non-veg stuff is better.
Didn't spot as many animals as in bandipur or kabini.

Hotel Review of Jungle Lodges K Gudi Wilderness Camp
This property is a jungle resort in true sense. Located inside dense forest, and still providing all the basic luxuries :-). Its location makes it a better destination than Bandipur, although in Bandipur you may have a better wildlife sighting probability. As expected from Jungle Lodges staff here too were very courteous, informative and helpful. Wildlife sighting is also very good. We sighted sloth Bear along with other common sightings. Another team sighted three sloth bear that day....

Hotel Review of Jungle Lodges K Gudi Wilderness Camp
We are from Madurai city and myself with my wife arrived Mysore at 10:30 A.M., by Tuticorin-Mysore Express. Stayed one night at Hotel Maurya Residency, Mysore and left for K-GUDI by Taxi from Skyway International Travels, Mysore at 9:00AM, arrived K-Guid at 11:00. Checked in at the LOG-HUT, CHAMUNID, the last one at this camp. Fo rour luck we are only one couple staying there for 2 nights and the Food is served at our LogHut to our Menu. Mr....

Hotel Review of Jungle Lodges K Gudi Wilderness Camp
My wife and me rode to BR hills over a weekend. We reached K Gudi resort in the late afternoon. This place truly stands out. The place is the closest to what you can call a jungle resort. 20kms on either side, there is no human settlement. The air is so fresh that you really feel like breathing. There is no electricity (only for a couple of hours). The huts and tent houses are awesome. The food is simple and...

I have been to jungle lodges K Gudi for the first time in Oct, We liked the location so much that we have done about 4 trips to the same location till Jan. This rating is based on all the trips to this wonderful location. This is an amazing place for a wildlife enthusiast given its location, safaris, treks and the resort location itself...

Hotel Review of Jungle Lodges K Gudi Wilderness Camp
We had heard a lot about Kgudi and after couple of times failing to get bookings, we finally made it. As we had expected the place turned out to be too good. Especially for nature & wildlife lovers, this is a very good place. nice location, excellent and punctual service, the staff everything is good. The crowd coming to this place is good.perfect way to relax over the weekend. away from the maddening crowds, TV..unfortunately mobile signal is available else...

Hotel Review of Jungle Lodges K Gudi Wilderness Camp
Overall it was a wonderful experience. We were not lucky enough to see much wildlife though. The only problem with this place is you need to have your own conveyance as there are not many buses that ply between Mysore and K Gudi infact there is only one KSRTC bus. Also the staff that we interacted with in the Bangalore office for queries were not very well informed regarding how to reach this place and so I had to call up...

Hotel Review of Jungle Lodges K Gudi Wilderness Camp
The sudden and steep elevation of the K Gudi Hills, after 28km stretch of dusty and bumpy roads from Chamrajnagar, took us to the entrance of the resort. A white board gave the details of sighting of wild animals in the current month – Tigers, Leapords, Sloth Bears. We thought that they had made this up for attraction, but we little knew we were in for the thrill of our life....

It is a nice resort, ideal for a relaxing with family and friends. The loghuts are great to stay in surrounded by the jungle. The possibility of seeing the 'big cats' is really the best part of the resort. Our experience was great....
