Nachana Haveli, Jaisalmer
Gandhi Chowk, Jaisalmer, Rajasthan 345001
The stay was pretty good. the hotel has a old world charm as far as the appereance is concerned. The food quality offered was good. the hotel however needs a maintainance for eg. wooden fixtures need to be polished. The ambience and stay were very comfortable. There were activities available to do and i would say it was average. i visited with my family for a relaxation trip.
The hotel was located inside the city. The hotel location was very good. The hotel building was old. The check in and checkout process was nice. All amenities were working fine in the room. I had only breakfast in the hotel and it was tasty. I don’t have any suggestion for this hotel. I would like to recommend this hotel for other travellers.
I had visited this hotel for personal purpose with my friends. The hotel was very good. Everything was nice in the hotel. The service was done on time. The provided room was comfortable.
It was a good hotel. I had vested this hotel with my family. The overall experience of the hotel was good. The food quality was nice in the hotel. The room was booked by my friend. The hotel was located in the city. The behaviour of the staff’s was supportive in the hotel.
If I am talking about my trip to Rajasthan and I miss Nachana then I miss that red cherry over the cake. Jaisalmer is a golden city with colorful people and an amazing culture. Our stay in Jaisalmer is a story in itself. Nachana Haveli is situated right in the middle of the market. A big gate awaits you. Once you enter you can sense the whole Nachana history around your eyes. You crave to know more about the royal lineage when you see the lobby, which is more or less like a royal museum. This is one of the series in heritage hotels which has protected the haveli as it was built. The rooms are still in their sandstone model, except few areas like restrooms (where you need geyser and other modern amenties). The staff is friendly and generous. The highlight of the Nachana story is the royal family which still resides there. You can also find the royal queen chatting with guests at the hotel (which is also at the terrace). Lal maas is a must try dish if you swear on non veg food. No disappointment for veggies. Dont forget to have ker saangri and makke ki roti with jaggery. The haveli is not a big palace however you will have an experience of the lifetime for sure.
Went to jaisalmer pre Diwali week with family and friends and stayed at Nachana Haveli for four nights and three days.We were offered a grant traditional welcome with nagaras and shahnai playing and flowers were showered upon us.A royal welcome. The entrance is lavish you feel as if you are entering a very big palace and front office is very good and as you enter there is a garden with fountain in the centre ,you can sit and relax there for sometime after a long journey, very good reception area and very humble and nice staff the formalities were completed in a few seconds and we were taken to our room. The rooms were equipped with all the required facilities in very good condition, the bed was very good, room service very quick. Every thing neat and clean and perfect. The hotel has a restaurant in the terrace from where you can have beautiful view of the famous jaisalmer fort and the whole city.view at night is simply superb. The food is too good you get all types of food here and the break fast is also too good. The owner himself takes care of the guests and overall a five star experience, one of the finest hotels of jaisalmer I would like to stay again and again .
To start with the first impression , the place is exactly and so much more than the photos and the review suggest :) I was there on my honeymoon and both of loved it there. Beautiful royal ambience. The rooms of this place are exactly as you see in the heritage monuments . The only difference is you get to live in here while the others you just see and dream. Not to forget that there are actual royals running the place. Very hospitable staff. Now I start with the food.. Very important :) They have a very limited menu. But whatever is prepared is authentic and yummmmmy! Starting from bread omelette to penne pasta to punjabi to sizzler. Never tasted such awesome food. So much so that we ended up eating here every meal of the 4 days. We decided to go out for one dinner atleast. We just had a soup and a salad at that plac ena dcame back to nachana haveli for rest of the course :D When we asked for it, They made us a traditional Jaisalmer thali... Simpy delicious :) All in all, we had a lovely stay at jaisalmer.. Thanks to Nachana Haveli and Vikram SIngh ji. :) I have already recommended this place to every other person...
The many \'aangans\' of Nachana Haveli lend it a unique atmosphere which translates into a comfortable and friendly stay. The open courtyards are intimate and allow guests to mingle and swap travel stories whilst soaking in the welcome winter sunshine. The rooms are well lit and clean though a visit in winter means that most of time would be spent outdoors, either in the courtyards or in the rooftop restaurant which offers stunning views of Jaisalmer fort.
The rooms were fantastic, like out of a fairytale. The hosts were warm and friendly The atmosphere was increadibly romantic. The view of the fort from the roof was amazing. The restaurant was good. The service to get the rooms of our choice was a little slow and tedious on one occasion, but otherwise the staff was helpful and friendly. I only wish it was inside the fort!!!
It is beautiful. They have a restaurant in the terrace which is very pleasing to watch. The view is also fantastic. The room we got had a fantastic view.
