Nagarhole food, sight-seeing and shopping options
Food, as with any of the Mysorian towns is an experience in itself. The traditional dishes of the Kadukurumba tribes, the original inhabitants of this area, are a must taste, while here. Having said that, the eateries are mostly the restaurants of the various resorts lining the country side here, of different sizes and shapes to suit one's budget. If you are a bit adventerous, especially with your stomach, you could possibly stop of one of the village hotels to have an authetic taste. Apart from wildlife, there is very little in terms of other sight seeing options. However, a drive to Coorg, Medikeri, Tibetian Settlement etc, all within a 100 KM's periphery are other attractions

Comments: Overall experience was good. The place was homely and the food too hada homely tasted. They try their best to cook from whatever they get from their own garden. Service is friendly.

Bad. The resort is completely away from Jungle. One may as well stay in Farm house on the outskirts of Bangalore. Additionally the place is not safe, the fencing is poor and broken. To make matters worst we had a THEFT in our tent where someone stole our digital camera and other valuables while we had gone fro dinner. Food was bad. We cut short our visit....

The place offers one of the best chances to view wildlife in the jungle. A place were the possiblties of spotting the great cat are the highest in these parts of the world. The place is basic, but the food is wholesome and just like hoome cooked meals. Service a all over the place , though the owner is a friendly soul who made us feel quite at home, but the place lacks co-ordination in terms of the activities and...

I would like to rate the resort as an average resort. The place where the resort is located is good & the appearance is also good but you do not have an option of variety of food. In situations where there is a huge crowd, management is not able to serve people with sufficient food. In such cases, visitors lose interest in food where they have to wait for an omlet for more than 20min. And when it arrives, it...

I have to be very true here. I am basically an engineering student. When i first planned to visit nagarhole, the only resort every website seemed to suggest was kabini river lodge(but the tariff was high-2500 per night). After some frantic searching i came across www.jungleinnnagarhole.com(tariff 1500-per night) and i found it to be ok . i e-mailed them about my visit and truly i got the reply the very next day. It felt very good. After a couple of e-mails and...

This is a well connected resort with a motor-able road. But food looks like it’s cooked in the jungle with what ever found in jungle and brought to resort! Not worth it's price....
