Nainital Zoo

The Nainital Zoo or Bharat Ratna Pt. Govind Ballabh Pant High Altitude Zoo is situated in the hills of Sher ka Danda and is just 1 km away from the bus stand. At an elevation of 2100m. above sea level, this zoo is a favourite of tourists, students as well as children. It provides a safe and secure habitat to many high altitude animals. Some of the animals at the zoo include the Snow Leopard, Himalayan Black Bear, Siberian Tiger, Barking Deer, Sambhar Deer, Palm Civet Cat, Wolf, Silver Pheasants, Hill Fox, Ghoral, Rose ringed Parakeet, Owl, Eagle and many rare Himalayan birds. The zoo is closed on Mondays and all national holidays.

Hi, I am sumesh. am getting married in september and planning for a honeymoon trip starting from 10th to 15th Sep. I am place in Ahmedabad. I am planning a trip to nainital .Can anyone please suggest me how to go about the trip. I would be thankfull if anyone could plan out the schedule for me and the best of resorts to stay. I know that I need to reach delhi first. from their am planning to hire a car and keep the car with myself for the entire trip. so please can anyone let me know the car rental details and also an approxiamate figure on how much would be the expenditure. thanks for the help and co-operation. ..Sumesh
 Trip to Corbett and Nainital
Hello, I am planning a trip to Corbett and Nainital in Oct or Nov. I am pretty sure about going to Corbett however not too sure about Nainital. Is it a nice place to visit? Are there any better places. I am looking for a place with good views, nice options for light trekking and basicaly not too touristy. Can someone please help. Thanks
