When there arent many places to stay in kolli hills you have to make do with what you have Nalla thambi resorts isnt much but it caters to the primal needs well. Provides all facilities. Rooms are on the poorer side and food is not upto the mark . but hey, kolli hills isnt a flashy travel destination but the 70 odd hairpin bends are a dram to ride on.
Hotel is located in convenient location. There was rat in my room; it damaged some items of mine. The check in and checkout was done on time. All required amenities were provided to my room in working condition. All pillows, bed sheets and blanket were in clean condition. Hot water, cold water facility was available. I did not use much staff service. I had food outside of the hotel.
I stayed in Nalla Thambi Resort, Kolli Hills. The overall experience at the hotel was very nice. The environment of the hotel location was good. There were activities provided at the hotel. The hotel location is easy to find. Parking facility was available. The staffs of the hotel were helpful in providing service. The food quality of the hotel was little expensive but the taste was good. The hotel did not provide any complementary food. The hotel room was like cottage which was good and comfortable and was provided with all amenities.
This location is very good and falls are fine. With family 1050 steps down is not possible, therefore another one falls near Kalliamman kovil. Near by vehicle is gone, therefore enjoy very lot. Almost this falls is free, therefore family people select this falls is good. Total the hill is very fine and before leaving ask to any body the falls water is available that is very important.
Nallatambi Resorts at Kolli Malai is a value for money, no frills resort. To book a room you have to Bank transfer an advance and only then the room is reserved. The rooms were decent and airy. The resort itself has many trees with pepper vines growing on it. In April when we went there, the climate was good and it was a pepper harvest time. You can see a lot of workers moving about will strong bamboos acting as ladders to pick the pepper pods. The climate was pleasant and there is no need for fancy priced AC rooms. The food in the restuarant was decent but a word of caution: avoid ordering Phulkas. They charge Rs 25 per phulka for a small palm sized phulka. Also the resort has no bar and the local wine shop stores only low priced stuff. So carry your own booze. There is nothing much to sight see except for a few temples and two waterfalls one of which will have water only if it rains. Shopping: restricted to pepper, cardamon and few other spices. During season, there is a mango farm at the foothills from where you can buy fafrm fresh mangoes.
This hotel is look like a small paradise with all activities available. but food rate is toooooo high and check in too late. but the park play area are all super. the room are spacious and camp fire is arranged by the hotel. it is good place to take rest. enjoy sightseeing and avoid restaurant food.
Good to stay in Kollimalai Nallathambi resort.... Very pleasant looking... Games like shuttle, tennis and children's games, park also available... Rent little higher but worth for money.... Kollimalai is a very nature green, falls are very nice to see... Its god gift to Namakkal
Location is good, the staff was very nice as well. Food is okay, but it's not available all the time. They need to make sure it is available, because there are no restaurants there. One more issue was that no one answers the landline, this definitely needs rectification. Rooms are very nice. No online booking available. No special view from the room.
The food was okay with both veg and non-veg and quality was good. The appearance of the hotel was normal and the rooms were not well maintained. There was a parking space available and there were no problem at check in and check out. It was okay staying in this hotel and there were no activities available. It was easy to find this hotel and the booking was done through online. It was a relaxing trip with my family last year.

My wife, two kids and I had a wonderful time there, The Restaurant had good food a little pricey but they did have some reasonable specials. The views are beautiful and our room had a deck from which we enjoyed some wonderful sunsets. We are already planning on returning again on labor day for a weekend getaway. Give it a try you won\'t be disappointed.

It is nice stay at Kolli hills, Tamilnadu,India. Falls are more attractive. Stay is good, hotel is neat and clean. In summer is nice location and pleasant stay.
This was our 3rd trip to Nallathambi resort-It is now our home away from home! The entire staff truly makes you feel right at home, from management on down there isn\'t anything that they won\'t do for you all the while having a smile on their faces. compare to prvious food menu now its ok .and taste is good.
The Resort is located in a good atmosphere and surrounded by hills. The resort has ample car parking. Rooms are very neat and clean. Bathrooms are regularly cleaned. The restaurant has two choices. Day time and in summer, we can have the open space one and if it rains we have a restaurant hall inside the building. The quality of the food available is very nice. Especially the fish curry and the fish fry was super. Another extraordinary method they follow is, we can buy mutton, chicken or fish from outside and give the restaurant and ask them to prepare the same to our taste, like more spicy or less spicy or curry with gravy or fry roasted. They charge a nominal charge for this. The front office also helps with full information such as what are the important places to see and how we can go and when we can go. If you have a plan to visit Kolli Hills, I strongly suggest Nallathambi Resort. Wish you a happy stay.
