I stayed in Hotel Nagoya Palace (Leh) for one night on 28 June 2015. The hotel looks new and modern. The room was good with LCD TV and DTH service. They served food in their dining hall. Many Indian and foreign tourists stayed in this hotel The food was very spicy. In Ladakh, usually less spicy food is served due to oxygen scarcity and acclimatization issues. This was my fourth visit to Ladakh. I have never tasted such spicy food. I did not enjoy the food in this hotel. The food was expensive as well and I could not eat much of it Overall, I enjoyed my stay in this hotel, except the food.
First when I saw this hotel I was so amazed because, we were told that we will get a 2 star hotel. When you see this hotel you will get the feel of a 3 star hotel. The food is just awesome as their hospitality towards their guests. The mall road distance from the hotel is walk able and you won't find hard to get things from hotel. For me this hotel made my Leh trip Memorable.
I visited in the month of June. It was a wonderful stay there. I found a temple (Monetary) inside the hotel on first floor. The ringing bell, regular praying time, creates a positive environment surrounding. It was a lifetime experience to stay there.
We stayed at Nagoya palace. We landed at this hotel as our agent booked here though knowing very well that my son was wheel chair bound and the hotel was not accessible. The staff welcomed us and made our stay comfortable though it was a evolution every time we exited and entered the hotel. The hotel has a good view of the mountains around. More than that, the people who own are very pleasing and helpful to you and suggesting the right tips to go about in Leh, with an intention to make your stay memorable. Ideally located to the main market and also on the periphery of the main street within walk-able distance
I visited in June 2013 and I booked this hotel. Hotel management did not tell me about the driver accommodation so I arrange a guest house for my driver. This is the bad side of this great hotel. Otherwise hotel is awesome and food quality is good.
Hotel Nagoya Palace location was very good. Food quality was awesome. Rooms are well maintained and the hotel manager Mr. Vivek Tiwari service was excellent, and very helpful person. 24hrs available for guest services. 24hrs rooms service were Doctor on call, Taxi anytime, Veg- non veg both kind of variety of food. Pure Jain food are also available there on demand. Ladakhi cultural programs organized on demand. Staff was very polite and the owner of hotel Mr. Nagoya Dorje was very cooperating with us. Amazing hotel service of Nagoya Palace. I recommend to everybody go there and enjoy there
I visited for sightseeing and I stayed in a beautiful hotel and it had a nice view. Room service was very good. Hotel staff supported well and they were very helpful and hotel provided full information to the visitors. Night was calm and peaceful and hillocks view from window was lovely .
The location is little far from market, it is not that far like other good hotels and averagely price hotel with very good appearance both from inside and outside, it has good lush gardens outside and its better then the other expensive hotels in that area. Food is okay not too bad, not the best and I recommend this hotel for good budget stays.
It is a cute hotel with brilliant service. I've traveled a lot and stayed at countless number of hotels but the service here was excellent to another level. The person at the front desk was like a magician who seemed to be in control and in charge of each and everything at the hotel and he's brilliant at it. Location wise it's a bang in the center of the city. 5 min walk from the main market which is good because it's quiet yet central. Had a wonderful experience.
I visited there with my family in the month of May and it was a relaxing trip. Hotel was good. Inner and outer look of the hotel was nice. Staff behavior was helpful and friendly. No delays in check-in and check-out. Rooms were neat and clean. Hot water facility was not provided on time in the room. Food was okay. Indoor and outdoor activities were not there.
Checked in during Kashmir leh tour in June 2013. First thing which stuck us was that the pretty dainty girls would be carrying our luggage. It was awkward, preferred to carry it ourselves, but this was the norm. Rooms are comfortable if we do not expect much. It was all meals package. Beak fast was simple and filling. Lunch was good, Being vegetarian we were very happy to have variety. Dinner again, the same service. For south Indians like us curd was missing. Desserts during lunch and dinner stood out. Evening snacks, tea has to be reordered. Some travel Books are available at the entrance, getting keys took time and effort. There was terrace on the same floor which was good for relaxing. Nagoya Palace is good if we go there with aim of comfortable accommodation. No family games were organized or available. Staff is courteous.
Heavenly place Ladakh with scenic mountains everywhere. Rightly called as heaven on earth. Ladakh has so much to offer, Curvy roads, clear blue skies, army trucks etc people are very friendly in this hotel, food is good, room service is also good. No activities though and moreover we didn't have enough time to spend in hotel. To all travelers please carry medicine Diamox along with you, you may suffer from high altitude sickness. Although this hotel has good tie up with the local doctor so doctor is available on call. Over all its a good hotel to stay at.
It was very good hotel. It was conveniently located and no difficulty to reach the hotel. Pick and drop service was provided by hotel. Staff behaviour was very good and appearance was good. Room was good and there was good view from the room. Food quality was good but many variety was not there. No delay during check-in and check-out. Swimming pool, gym and other activity was not there. Sightseeing was also arranged by the hotel. It was relaxation trip with family and friends. It was value for money. I would like to recommend this hotel to others.
Our vacation to Leh-Ladakh in May 2013 was memorable. The sightseeing plan was well drafted & conducted. The Nagoya Palace Hotel where we stayed was very good in terms of hospitality, cleanliness, food quality, staff courtesy & overall ambience. As it was an all inclusive package trip, I cannot comment on the cost factor ; but I believe it was a good cost effective package which we booked through internet. The entire staff is very helpful, co-operative & they serve with a smile. We are quite satisfied with Nagoya Palace Hotel & would recommend it to tourists & visitors who visit Leh.
The best thing about this hotel is that they serve very good food. The food is very delicious but there is no activities or any kind of sports in this hotel. The staff of this hotel is friendly with the tourists. The rooms are also quite good. It is the second best hotel I recommend after the grand dragon. The weather of Leh was very unpredictable in afternoon, it is very hot in morning and night very cool. Although it is a very good place to visit.
