About Nartiang Monoliths

Nartiang Monoliths can be found in and around the Nartiang Village. These monoliths consist of dolmens and menhirs. The tallest menhir has been built by the lieutenant of Jaintia King. The U Mar Phalyngki, U Luh Lyngskor Lamare and other tribes of the village, led the establishment of various monoliths between 1500 and 1835 A.D.
