It is one of the finest hotels in Shimoga, we booked party hall for farewell party for juniors. It was awesome and food quality was good at reasonable price. Good responsive staff and nice location, itís at the centre of the city. Rooms were good with wide beds, clean mattress and clean bed-sheets. Good parking facility was provided in the hotel.

The hotel is located, off the Nehru road, and is the best location to access shopping centres along with all other facilities, especially the attached restaurant was awesome with a mix and match of local cuisine. The parking facilities were very good but the staff were not that good.

We stayed in this hotel during our trip to Jog in Aug 2013. This is the only hotel, where I could get booking earlier. But honestly speaking this is one of the bad hotels I had stayed so far. We checked in the 3 bed room but everywhere bed bugs, no ventilation also. We had booked it for 2 days but we vacated after one day. Donít stay in this hotel. There are other plenty of hotels nearby (good hotels) for stay

Room was spacious.
But switchboard/TV/Fans were in bad shape.
Toilet was not well maitained.
Location wise its good.
Have veg/non-veg/bar options.
Walkable distance from bus-station and around 2 kms from railway station.
It has a travel-desk which helps you in booking cabs.
If your requirement is just a night-stay, then its a good one. If you plan to spend more time, then its not.

Went there in an all-guys gang enroute the world famous Jog falls.

Since it was a long weekend and tourist season, we booked through the internet for 9 people in 3* 3 bedrooms... however because of the miscommunication between website and hotel, they had kept only one 3 bed and they alloted us the remaining 2 rooms which were 2 bed rooms.

Though we anticipated that the services would be not so great because of its \'economy class\' tag, the services were way below expectations - flush not working in toilets, unclean rooms, no complementary soap/towel provided, etc.

It is ok for a one-night stay and if you are travelling in a college gang who want adventure. Couples/luxury seekers - please stay away!

Good, nice and decent place to stay and moreover economical, if one is having budgetary constraints.

Best Experience: Had to revisit Shimoga after one day of our check out. We had not made any reservations either. Receptionist was kind enough to reserve two rooms on just a phone call. It was a nice gesture as it was a Saturday and we had to roam around for hotel bookings had we not got the reservations.

Worst Experience: None.

this is the wrong hotel if you are going with your family members or wish to have a decent stay. Not sure why they are calling it a hotel at all!! Just stay away.

Best Experience: The only best experience I had was the front desk agreeing to return back my advance money without much arguments. Despite whether they paid back the money or not, I wouldn\'t have stayed here.

Worst Experience: From the time you enter in, nothing looks to be normal or convenient. The \'hotel\' is actually a commercial complex of a small size with bars and other petty shops at ground level. parking is available for 3-4 cars only in a dark basement from where you don\'t have any lifts to carry your luggage to upper floors. You need to carry your luggage, come out of the building and reenter in to hotel reception through a narrow passage. Then to your shock, you will find all alcoholic and smoking people wandering free at the reception. your next aerobics comes at the lifts from there which are old fashioned and have tough doors to open manually. corridors at the room are not ventilated and dark. Now the next wonder are the \'rooms\' - smelling sticky cigarettes, dirty floors and bed sheets, burnt rugs, slippery bathrooms and broken mugs and buckets.... not any old hindi movie... Welcome to Navarathna International hotel!!! Free advise again... keep away!!
