Neemrana Fort Palace, one of India's prestigious heritage hotels is situated in Alwar, Rajasthan. This fort was built in 1464 and hence is a major attraction for the tourist as well as locals. We went there for one-night stay. Good accommodation for heritage room. On arrival, we were served some mocktails (which was indeed refreshing). Shringar quarter (beauty palace) rooms were allocated to us. Beautiful, big and bold. Anyone who is in love with architecture, art and designs is sure to like it. It does have a restricted sense of taste added to the rooms. There is no TV in the rooms . . We took rest for a while and then in the evening head towards to see the beauty of this fort. Excellence and perfection lies in the way they have preserved the beauty of this fort and how the tourist is allowed to take the utmost pleasure from it. There are several activities in the evening like cultural events, spa sessions, pool party, camel riding and other indoor outdoor games. So rejuvenating and touched by the heritage of our country. Indeed India is a golden bird with so rich culture instilled. Traditional food, traditional dresses and authentic taste in an open air restaurant. Dinner buffet at an affordable price. You get a great variety and it's not hefty on your pockets We also sat by the greenery this fort has. Things are so different and you feel that time has turned back. You roll over the years to some 15th century and things come out so differently. Must go atleast once to enjoy the beauty of our nation.
Booked Neemrana Fort Palace for celebrating Valentine's day. Located just off the Delhi-Jaipur Highway, it's the perfect destination for couples looking for a romantic getaway. Although they have facilities for hosting corporate conferences as well. All rooms are different and provide different experience. Since it is a fort converted to a hotel, you may have to climb a lot of stairs to go from one place to another. Restaurant is situated in the middle. They have two good sized swimming pools with the upper one with good privacy. They organize cultural evenings during weekends. You feel like royalty. They have basic hotel amenities like hot water, heater etc. But lack A/Cs, TVs in some rooms. Better to check at the time of booking. Booking can be made from their website. Various activities such as camel ride, vintage car ride, flying fox zipping is also available on payment. Food is the only let down at this place. It is costly and not that tasty. Better to come down and grab a bite in some restaurants at the foothill. Overall amazing hotel with amazing views. If going by car, it is an steep uphill climb to the hotel reception. No level Parking is available. They make you park on the incline.
It was peek summer of May but we left very early from Delhi, had breakfast on the highway and reached the Fort in no time, ( 4 hours). Well, this was our first ever stay in a Palace. Kid was really excited about it, we stayed for 2 nights in different rooms whose decor were different (the Munna quarter and the Munga quarter) one had a lovely view of the pool and the other opened into the amphitheatre, both tastefully decorated. We also went for the camel cart ride at sunset which was okay and saw horde of peacocks roaming free. The draw back is the food, buffet was really expensive for what they provided, breakfast was better but not great. Come on guys, we are royal guests! Should it not be more lavish. Overall a good experience for those seeking a stay in a palace !!
I stayed there for one night and it was beyond my expectations. I was fascinated by the rooms interior, the typical Rajasthan style of the ancient times was so very reflected in it, just mind blowing. I'd stayed in Jail quarter. The enchanting building of the Fort alongside the mountain gave a breathtaking view from the room. Jail quarter room has a balcony facing the swimming pool is just perfect to stand there anytime seeing the stunning view. The room didn't had any TV that further makes anyone to explore the place in a better way Far away from the noise of the city life makes it a perfect place to relax and spend quality time. If someone is planning to visit Neemrana Fort, then staying at the Palace hotel is a must experience for a royal treatment in a luxurious way The gardens, swimming pools & the flora and fauna add to the spectacular view of the surroundings. The staff is very cordial and co-operative no doubts and the food is also class apart. Best time to go is what I'll suggest is summer or at least don't plan in winters when its foggy and visibility is poor because then you won't be able to see it fully.
