Nehru Park is a huge park which is located in the Chanakyapuri area in the diplomatic enclave. This park extends to an area of 80 acres and was named after the first Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. It was established in 1969 as a venue for conducting morning and evening Ragas.
This park is also the venue for SPIC MACAY music concerts and annual Bhakti Festival. The concerts are mainly organised by New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC). It is also an important venue for various art events and morning yoga classes. There is an ancient Lord Shiva Temple, a cafe and a swimming pool inside the park.
