Nice place to stay with an environment of calm and peace, birds chirping on the trees in the morning. Sun shines on you in the lawns with chairs and umbrellas to sit and enjoy beauty. The hotel is quite spacious with a lot of open spaces kids love it even cricket was being played by hotel staff

Best Experience: Food was good and quite afordable quick service with prompt attendance. With our package the breakfast was complementary, which was flexible in what ever we ate say for the child milk and cornflakes with fresh boiled eggs from local hens. Clean rooms daily new towels and a TV to watch with ample connections to charge mobile and Lap Top usage.

Worst Experience: The place has a very difficult approach with your own vehicle the driver has to be expert or it shall be dangerous to drive with narrow and steep approach road. Once you park your vehicle let it stay ther till the day you want to move out. The clutch may burn if you are new to steep hills.

We stayed in Dev cottage from 5 June, 2010 to 8th June, 2010. Hotel is 4 kms from Mcleodganj on a very narrow road. It is located in a very beautiful location and view from the rooms is excellent. Rooms were spacious with all the basic facilities.

Best Experience: View of moutains from hotel is amazing. Rooms were clean and spacious.

Worst Experience: Drive from Mcleodganj to hotel is scary. Room service is bit slow.

it was nice and excellent place to have the stay..... It was a good stay over there and many more things which can\'t be expressed by words just go and experience the Dev Cottage.....

Just loved the place, the serenity of the location, especially its clean air and distance of 1.5 km from the McLeodganj which is far enough to block out the noise yet close enough for a light walk. Walk up to Dharamkot and along the excellent left road as almost no vehicles use it.

Best Experience: The food was homely (Always nice), as are the folks there. The view is AWESOME. Superb location.

Worst Experience: Actually, none to be honest as we were looking to get away from all city-like noise and bustle

It was a great budget resort in the backdrop of peaceful mountain in Dharamkot near Mcleodganj. The room service is good and food here is excellent homely food. Rooms are well ventilated and each room gives you a view of beautifull mountain ranges covered with clouds.Mostly used by foriegners. There\'s a yoga club and a good garden as well. Recommended to nature loving folks. If you love the hustle and bustle of city then forget this resort.

Best Experience: Beautiful view of cloud covered mountain peaks. Feel like in heaven

Worst Experience: Drive in the narrow hilly road to reach the hotel. Since I was driving my car and was not much used to drive in the hills. I had ask the staff in the hotel to park my cars.
