I had visited this hotel for family trip. Transportation facility was nearby the hotel. The behaviour of the staff’s was co-operative. The room was well maintained. All amenities were provided in the room. The food quality was good. The complimentary breakfast was not given by the hotel. The activity was not arranged at the hotel. There was no delay in service.
This hotel is near to the Jagannath temple Puri and managed by Sri Mandir Prashasan Puri. The staff were superb. The location is terrific and the rooms are beautiful and clean. This hotel has wide parking area. The front desk staff who were overly nice.
The hotel is very close to temple on the same road. We can walk or take a cycle rickshaw, just half km distance. The road is busy from morning to midnight. No fear. We had darshan in the morning and ate temple prasadam for lunch. One should not miss the flag hoisting on the top of Gopuram daily in the evening which is amazing.
This hotel is situated just in front of main gate of the temple. So if you are going for the devotional trip so this will help you a lot. The looks of the hotel is nice as well as rooms are clean and tidy. The convince is easily available from the gate of hotel. The food here is also nice.
The hotel is in proximity of the main temple and surrounded by lots of shops and restaurants. This hotel is managed by the temple trust and is just 0. 5 km from the temple. They do not provide very good services as the working staff is very less. So the hotel needs a lot of improvement. But if one wants a night or two stay then it is affordable and stay would be decent. Rooms are not very luxurious.
My overall, experience of Nilachal Bhakta Nivas, Puri was really bad and very little option for breakfast and if you are travelling with a child it's worst.
It is affordable and with good cleanliness nice hotel, near the temple taken by temple committee reply immediately to your queries and also tariff are fixed on the website. I would surely recommend the stay in the hotel, temple is just a walk able distance.
I visited this place with my family on a relaxing tour in July 2011. The appearance and location of this hotel was good. The booking was done through their Kolkata Office. There was no trouble at check-in and check-out. The rooms were neat and clean. The food served in the restaurant was delicious.
Nice and peaceful ambience as the jagannath temple is nearby. It has good room service. There's a helpful reception. But you will get average food quality. Beautiful view of the temple at the evening. Very clean and decent rooms which makes you feel relaxed. Overall nice play to stay.
We went for a religious visit to Puri. The location of the hotel is simply fabulous-- walking distance from the Jagannath Temple. You can reach the beach if you hire a rickshaw. Basic amenities are adequate and is good for the price offered. The staff are courteous and friendly. We got the reservation done on phone well in advance. I would again stay in the hotel when I next go to Puri.

This was my 7th trip to one of my favorite destination the Holly City of Puri. To be honest, this trip was really an impromptu one for us. luckily we somehow managed reservation, but not lucky enough in booking a hotel before we arrive. one of my dad\'s pal suggested us about \"Nilanjana Resort\", Baulimath, Swargadwar over phone when we are reaching Puri. I first thought it would be a guest house far off from the she shore, but to my surprise the location is pretty close to it. We have asked for a double bed room, and the manager was very responsive and quick in providing the same. The room was decently spaced up with basic amenities like TV/attached bathroom/shower/Indian-Western style combo toilet/kitchen (they provide utensils and gas ovens if the party want to cook for themselves. They can also provide meal if asked)/ small balcony. there was a lady who used to clean the room and gave us bed sheets pillows if asked for with a smile on her face if given a good tip. we rely for fooding in \"Tero parbon\" (literally \'13 Occasions\' in English) - a pure Bengali restaurant. all in all I think the rooms were above average and certainly deserves a try if you want go economical. Thank You....
We are an often visitors to puri. Last time we were there on may 3rd.We stayed in the Nilachal bhakt nivas. It is a comfortable place to stay with basic amenities. we made a reservation in advance. thus even in peek season we could easily get the room. it was a big one with basic amenities. the main advantage of this hotel is that it is very near to the temple. the temple shrine was clearly visible from our window.the staff there are very friendly.the only drawback was they didn't have a restaurant.you may find few Jain and marwadi restaurants nearby with a reasonable cost. a lot of travel agencies can be found nearby the hotel.
We are back home. It was a pleasent stay at Nilachal Bhakt Nivas during 3-6-2012 to 7-6-2012. Ther location was good & reachable, the reception staff only take 5 minuts to provide us the room, room was neat & clean and the bath room is also clean with 24 hours water supply. room service is good. Thanks for all the staff for their co-operation. We feel comfortable.
vrey good and comfort stay with economy price, clean & neat room, very spacious bathroom, prime location.Very helpful behaviour of staff
Overall experience was very good, as we come from a place far away from a sea shore, i.e., Nagpur.
