This place brings to life your dream of staying inside a jungle. Located on the Mysore - Madekeri Highway and yet away from all the traffic and noise. A Bridge connects the resort to civilization and its so secluded that the only noises that you hear while in this resort are those of the birds, the monkey (there\'s lots of them) and the river gushing by - yes, you heard it right. Its located on the banks of the Cauvery river and each of the accomodation huts has a balcony positioned such that you are sitting on top of the river. Heaven!
Cauvery nisargadhama it was really a very good experience we had. If you are planning to visit do a pre booking by calling 08272228305. Near by places to visit are Dubare elephant camp which is 18km from resort and mugilupete(mandalapet) unforgettable places if u want to go there you should have a 4*4 power vehicle(car) it is 35km approx away from resort. We struggled hard to hire a 4*4 jeep as we had taken a car which don't climb those mugilupete hills. Finally we got a person Girish. He had a good jeep 4*4 and took us till the end of those hills as most of them don't even go half of the hill. He was very co operative and charged fare price. Where others demanded more. If u have plan to go there call him earlier.
It was a good experience staying there but for the food. The resort has a tranquil setting and the bamboo trees and cauvery add to the mood. The room would be OK if you are alone but with a family it could be difficult with ants, small frogs etc coming in. The person there warned us that we could get some rats as well !!!
A night stay is a must. The surround sound--that of the river, bamboo trees, the sound of the cricket, frogs take you to the jungle mentally. Paisa wasool.
To enjoy LTS trip occupied with my family members we checked in to the hotel. The hotel is of reasonable tariff and even middle class families also can afford. They have the following services like 24 hours time from the day of entry and time of leaving. But, the amenities to be improved like hot water supply, room service and boys attendance.
