Must Visit Old Goa
The name Old Goa was first used in the 1960s in the address of the Konkani monthly magazine, dedicated to spread the devotion of the Sacred Heart, Dor Mhoineachi Rotti which was shifted to the Basilica of Bom Jesus in 1964. Postal letters were returned to the sender, as the name "Old Goa" was unknown then, according to then and long-time editor of the monthly, the great Goan historian late Padre Moreno the Souza, SJ. The place is known as Saibachem Goem (referring to St. Francis Xavier as Saib I. E. Master), Pornnem Goem, Adlem Goem or just Goem in Konkani. The remains of the city are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Old Goa is approximately 10 kilometres east of the state capital Panjim.
The experience of visiting Old Goa is one of the best in my life, I will never forget it. I had visited there with two of my friends. We had a great time there at Goa. This is one of the best day we had ever in our lives. I want to visit there again and again
Goa in Monsoon
Goa was at its serene best during our visit this Monsoon. We had a tour of South Goa and covered the temples - Mangeshi and Shantadurga, the Churches and Museum, Dona Paula and Miramar and Colva beaches. We also visited a small wax museum near the Church, had a decent collection of Indian and foreign personalities. Fort Aguada is surely worth visiting.
When in Old Goa you can visit many old Churches and visit the tomb of Saint Francis Xavier. Be sure to wear comfy shoes as there is a lot of walking to do. I am heritage lover and all the places are awesome of Old Goa. If any one go to Goa they should must go to visit Old Goa.

Visit here with family
Very beautiful place, I will must visit once again to watch this place. Visit here with family for a picnic.
This place I liked for the churches and the parks. In the museum we saw a short film on saint Xavier's life, preserved body of St. Xavier bis photos. Really it is unbelievable that a body can be preserved for 500 years and other saints and the Christ.
