Resort is nice. I stayed there for three days. Food was okay. I went there in January. Staff was helpful and friendly. Services were excellent. Hotel has cottage type rooms. I booked my room there already. It is a nice photographic area and you can get many exciting places to photograph. It is a recommendable resort for all other visitors. Rooms were good. Rooms were neat and clean. TV was there. It is located in jungle. The location of hotel is fine. Appearance is well-maintained. Pick up and drop facility was available but I did not use. I booked my room in advance. Hotel is definitely recommendable for all other travelers. Bonfire was organized.

Nice place to stay, Clean and good accommodation /cottage. Good and very cooperative staff. Tasty and hygienic food. Hot water for bath. Awesome place and enjoy the beautiful nature. Great opportunity to photograph the variety of birds of western ghats.
Only thing, we should take care from mosquitos, when we will be out of cottages, I.e in evening time. Totally my stay was in Old Magazine House, jungle lodge resort on 14th march is pleasant.

I along with a group visited the OMH camp for bird watching and that was our sole purpose of exploring bird life in the W.Ghats.

Some of us chose to stay in the dormitory and some in the cottages and overall the comfort level was good as it has always been. Power outage is an issue and you cant complain much about it being in a remote place. Staff are helpful and always on call and are very courteous.

Visit this place if you want a break from the hectic life spending quality time doing nothing amidst the frenzy calling/singing of birds and chatting over the campfire and slurping the hot delicious food. Don't visit if you are looking for a high end luxury resort equipped with all modern facilities.

Remember, this is an offbeat location and not a luxurious resort and you won't have many facilities that other resorts offer. Activities are limited and the schedules can go haywire if rains interrupt. If you are interested in bird watching or wildlife photography, this is the place to be. Sit, relax and enjoy the show unfurl.

Fantastic place in the wilderness of dandeli forest reserve. The best part is the great opportunity for the bird lovers to witness and photograph the birds performing the bathing and drinking water activity at a close distance.
The Rooms are basic and food served is also good. The lodge staff are very cooperative.
A must visit for every bird lover and a photographer.

Best Experience: Wonderful experience of stay at the forest lodge!!

Worst Experience: Toilet facilities need to improve even though it can remain basic.

This is a paradise for a birding professional. If you are a professional birder, you can\'t miss this spot in Dandeli.

Best Experience: The staff at OMH Ganeshgudhi are experts at bird spotting and their knowledge about birds is superb. Waking up and being surrounded by all the avian friends, is something to remember.

Worst Experience: Nothing to write about. I love this place and the people.

This is an excellent place for solitude seekers. The resort is located bang in the middle of the jungle; with the jungle sounds (insects) at their highest throughout the day. Quite far and cut-off from the daily rumble of the urban life. For crowd-loving people, this may not be the right choice as this is quite an isolated place. Infact it may get a bit eerie and scary too, if one is used to crowds (on our 2nd night, we were the only people staying in the whole of the resort). The place seems a favourite with bird watchers and photographers; as quite a few of them were there. People with 600mm fixed focal length lens were strutting their stuff around; that i guess means a huge draw. This place is a definite visit if one is intending for a calm, quiet and uninterrupted getaway - no tv, no mobile network (except bsnl).

Best Experience: The setup of the resort is quite good, though small. The cottages are stilt-type; placed on slopes with the jungle covering the background. Rooms are very, very basic but neat, clean and well-maintained. The food served is simple stuff, but extremely well made with variety thrown in, for good measure. There is a short uphill trek, infact quite steep. Rigorous stuff. But the destination is worth it; can see gorgeously beautiful sunset - judge yourselves from the photographs. But the trek is definitely not recommended for children. The coracle ride too is worth a mention; especially the deft manoeuvring skills of the rowing man - Mr. Pundalik.

Worst Experience: The road that leads to the entrance of the resort - a 200m patch - needs serious repair. It is is a muddy patch, with lot of stones and undulations; throwing out almost all the loose parts of the vehicle and people :). I hope the hotel management takes a note of this huge shortcoming.

I should say , it was good..Nested amidst the greenery of Western Ghats..Close to the Backwaters of Supa Dam..The price is reasonable..The place is calm, green ,clean..Did Rafting in Kali, Food is great..Service too is good..

Best Experience: A small trek to the nearby hill where we can see the view of Supa backwaters..RAFTING in Kali is the main event that all tourist look for and i did it..but the Water release from dam was low so the river was not that wild and the rafting not it\'s best..
The FOOD served at the Guest House is great...
And there is a night camp fire too

Worst Experience: Nothing , i think..
