Ondas Do Mar Reviews

Ondas do mar, barely 300 m from the Calangute beach, is a sprawling complex of double storied buildings, each building housing about 4 rooms on each floor. Our rooms were situated at the back, and the dining/common areas had to be accessed by taking a slight detour.

Best Experience: The location is good, with the beach being a short walk away. Checking out early at 6am was uneventful. The parking area was fairly big and safe. Staff were courteous. The rooms were, at best, basic and clean...with basic, adequate furniture. Bathroom was clean.

Worst Experience: The big let down was the food, average at best. The breakfast was just ok. But the fish curry was near unpalatable. Despite there being vacant rooms (of the same budget) when we visited, we were given rooms at the section away from the main area, and that too near a staircase. The rooms were, though neat, quite basic.

We enjoyed are stay a lot. We have been in Love with Goa ever since we went there first last year - But Ondas Do Mar is like the cherry on the cake :) You definitely won\'t enjoy the holiday if you don\'t get proper rest and the best way you can do that is at ondas do mar- It is a peaceful and cozy location .

Best Experience: The best thing is the hospitality of the owners Anthony and Benedicta. We love you guys ... And we will always keep coming. See you guys again next year !!!

great time, room rather basic however very clean, staff at hotel were first class,especially kevin,chan and sam, not forgetting the chef who cooked us some of the nicest food we had eaten in goa, lovely swimming pool, Antonio the director always stopped and had time for a chat, would never stay anywhere else in india except the ondas domar really had a great time at this hotel
