One of the best coastal experiences in Maharashtra. Brilliant location coupled with monsoons and staying by the sea - very serene.

Best Experience: We experienced white sea during September 2009. The evenings were ethereal. A quiet location with not-so-quite sea. MTDC has two options - huts/shacks by the sea or normal rooms with balconies further than the shacks (proximity from the sea being more). We decided to stay one day in the hut next day in the latter. Huts/shacks were small, rooms were cozy. But have to admit shacks were more enjoyable, gave a rustic fLavour.

Worst Experience: The Hotel In MTDC Is SAD

After a long Drive from Pune to Ganpatipule , the sight of the sea & beach was avery soothing experience.We knew it would be very refreshing staying experience as the location of the hotel was fabulaous.

Best Experience: Our room was almost very near to the sea shore .We had a great dinner & then we went on a long stroll along sidethe walkways built alongside the beach.The sea water was hushing & was very evident due to the silver/white waves seen hitting the rocks on the beach.We felt very safe to walk around though it was @11 pm /

Worst Experience: Nothing in partcular

It is a nice placed to enjoy the sea side experience. The stay right on the sea shore, the calm night with the waves breaking nonstop.

Best Experience: The best is to stay in the sea side cottage. You spend the full morning in the beach. Drench your self in sea water and just walk in your room to freshen up and relax.

Worst Experience: There is no proper joints for food. If you are a vegi then you had it. The place is not having proper place for good food.

The sea view from the rooms is amazing. Rooms are clean. Flora is well maintained. Food is decent. The beach is beautiful. However, the ground floor rooms have a lot of lizards and insects crawling in. Also, the food is not served in the room.
