"Good rooms"

Very very good overall, save for the front office. The rooms are this hotel's biggest strengths as you will read from the highlights.. Highly recommend this place in Ooty

Best Experience: The rooms...ahhaaa..they are simply fantabulous. nothing short of world-class. Very welcoming interiors, soft hues and lighting, soft fluffy spring beds, nice carpeting all over. good upholstery.. nice mini ref in both the rooms where we stored our Buds.. very good rest rooms, with shampoos, body lotions, aroma oils, conditioners all from Biotique.. dental hygiene and a comb too... the works.... locker facility was also there... the dinner buffet was kinda good...though the chef went out of his way in preparing us dishes which were outside the buffet spread. garlic bread was very nice. breakfast buffet was cool...with all the bells and whistles of a 5-star buffet...:-)

Worst Experience: Without a shred of doubt, the Front office. We had a nightmarish check-in. Almost walked out of the property due to the high handedness of the lobby manager. Our rooms were pre-booked and we asked for a slight change for which he could have politely declined with a smile. But there's always one black spot in a fantastic holiday and it was this guy. He started yelling at the his junior for a lapse he made by telling him to pay for it from this salary in front of the guest!! Very uncouth behavior...

its a clean and a neat stay it is way away from the traffic, its a nice stay in ooty, the rooms are clean, the food could have been better, the service was good, there are lot of other places that you can try in ooty.

"The staff took extra care of aged people"

the hotel is in the main market at the same time at a little distance from the main road. the interiors and exteriors are well maintained and the garden landscape is done up very well. the staff is very curteous and polite and go all out to help. food variety was good and both north and south indian cusine was served in the buffets

Best Experience: the staff took extra care of aged people. i had my aprents along with me and every small need of theirs was taken care of.

"Room was spacious & large"

The hotel is a nice place to stay, situated in the city center. It is surrounded by nice greenaries. Room was spacious & large, good for family to stay & has got nice beds, daily staff was changing the bed covers & all.

Best Experience: from my Room to the surrounding hill view was awesome

It was a delight to stay at Fortune Hotel Sullivan . The whole experience was wonderful. W orth paying the money . They took care of everything . the view was also great.

people just flock to this place from all parts of India!. seems like a favorite getaway for the summers of the tropics. The hotel seemed a quite place with not much noise and the service was alright. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The room was very well located,

our experience with Fortune hotel wasn't much great. On arrival we were offered the room which was dirty and smelly. We immediately changed the room but the offered was very near to DG ran most of the time hence sleeping was mostly unpleasant. Food wasn,t great. Less choice.

Good hotel to stay at. Interiors are of old fashioned and bathrooms needs proper mantainance. Over all the hotel was good.
