Worst Experience: We stayed their on 08.02.2010, Flask and Utensils are full with stain. very bad experience.

Hotel Review of Hotel Nahar Residency
There are two Nahar's in Ooty, this one is Nahar Residency and is near Railway Station. Other one is Nahar Nilgiris on Charing Cross road. I didn't have high hopes from Nahar after reading average experience of holidayiq members. However, it seems that management has really geared up to make the experience pleasant....

I agree with most reviewers that service at this hotel really very pathetic. But because of its location it appears that I will be staying here again and that is the only plus about Nahar Residency....

Hotel Review of Hotel Nahar Residency
I stayed there for 2 days. Reaching the hotel is very short and easy. Moreover, the front office assistance and service were also good. But the location of the hotel is little noisy, because the hotel is located at the main bazaar. Inside, the room is good and comfortable too. If I have a chance to go to Ooty, then my preference is to go to Hotel Nahar first, then search for other options....

The hotel ambience was nice, I got an off season discount and the rates seemed to be comparabel looking at the amenities and the furniture / setup. The location was not good, it was in the heart of the market.There was not variety of food available in the resort.
