Hotel Review of Lakeview, Hotel
Comments: Vegetarian food is really bad. Food we had on the first day even caused stomach problems. So, I had to have the food outside. Hotel is little far from the city.

If you need to make travel arrangements to visit around places, consider the option of hiring car/cab from outside the hotel. Cost difference was too much.

It was a good hotel. the rooms wer individual cottages. the experience of firewood in the room which was so good and memorable experience. the hotel is far from the main ooty so it is better for those haveig a vehicle with them. Food was ok ok type, nothing great. just the name is lake view, no view of lake....

The hotel was ok for the tariff. One maynot get a cheeper hotel with this service. However, hotel requires some more cleaning. Gheaser, Electrical appliances were not in a good condition....

When we booked hotel at Delhi it looked very, very exciting from pictures, but all our excitement vanished when we arrived at the front office; we had to wait for more than one hour for allotment of our room. Not only this, room was in a shabby condition. Moreover they didn't provide us the room for which we had given the advance payment in full at Delhi. Our room was booked for 3 days but next day we checked out....

Ooty, in itself, is a wonderful place to visit. I think Dec-Jan is the best time, since the rest of the year, the sun is a apoilsport during the day, or there's rain. Lakeview is a very small place, with cottages, and little else....
