Overall experience, I would say was wonderful until it was time to check out. Then I got a shocker of an experience. I booked the room thru make my trip.com. I made my payment, got confirmation and all that. I was supposed to stay in a standard room. I went ahead and checked in, completed my stay. When it was time to check out, I went down to reception to complete the formalities and was shocked when thay said that...

If you are interested in just a place to while the night away in ooty....this is not for you! But if you are in the mood for a leisurely stay in ooty with a few days to spare...then this is just the place for you. I and my wife found about this place from the net. We went there in october this year. When you enter the place it gives u a inn like feel! But when we entered the room it...

Hotel Review of Willow Hill, The
We travelled to Ooty during the peak season for a colleagues wedding. Not surprisingly Ooty was jam packed with no hotels available anywhere. To our luck Willow Hill was the Saviour in disguise. Reality is not always sweet to digest. But this is one experience worth mentioning. Thght that this place wud be just another low budget hotel, but our opinions took a reverse turn after we saw the place. Pearched atop a cliff, enroute Kings Cliff is Willow Hill. The place is simply amzing....

It is a good resort. Slightly away from the town of ooty, which is good as ooty has become too crowdy and a concrete jungle. Its ata high , surrounded by tall trees and heance peace and fresh air. The recption staff and the manager of restraunt are very helpful. Food served at the restraunt is excellent....

Myself and my husband had a wonderful experience at the Resort. We booked it through the website and we were not sure what we were in for.But the resort turned out to be far above our expectations and we had a nice holiday break. The resort is wonderfully perched on top of the hill and we missed not bringing our friends along for a bonfire and a picnic near the resort cos it was so peaceful and we literally went closer to...

Hotel Review of Willow Hill, The
Brief: I had a short brief: a small hotel (and not a resort) with a beautiful view from my room, away from the crowd and modestly priced. I was willing to forgo on other frills and thus I bumped into the website of Willow tree. It is a site well done but could do with more recent pictures. Booking: Like all smart travelers should, I called up the owner instead of his Bangalore agent and bargained my way into a good deal....
