Overall experience ws very good backed by excellant service and a personal attention to the comfort of each guest made it a pleasure trip with family.

Best Experience: Boating was fun, the climat excellant, the scenic beauty because of tall mountains is very good and the resort is very nicely done, and the maintenance is taken care of very religiously.

Worst Experience: NO

Anandvan is a beautifully managed resort....we were called on our way to check if we were ok and got our way right...we visited the place for 3 full days & we were not bored.....it has a gymnasium with enough sports to play...and ofcourse they give you a little boat ride and morning stroll to the top of the hill to fill you up with activities.... the food is above average (people who dont prefer indian food will not like it here)...if you have oldies with you, it may be a bit of a problem (as there are 117 steps to the top villa) although they try to make it as comfortable as possible...the staff is very courteous but the highlight of our trip was our host Mr Mepani (the manager)...a very charming man who knows all the right buttons to be pressed, he made it worthwhile during our stay...so all the above make it better for the big whole in your pocket....Happy Holidays

Resort itself was nice hangout destination,allstaff members were extremely co-operative,very humble.Food was good,though limited options but taste was good.

We went to Bhandardara and stayed at Anandvan resort for 2 nights. A very nice resort. we went from Pune. Overall 220 kms. 150 Pune-sangamner & 70 km sangamner to Bhandardara. Total around 5 hrs drive time mainly due to Pune Nashik road traffic. Sanganmner to Bhandardara road is good. Resort has a great view and excellent location.

Best Experience: Best part: No chowpaty like mahabaleshwar, non commercial, basically nature view. going around bhandardara (dams (wilson & Ghaghar), temple Amriteshwar), nature view points, lakes and water falls (randha) are good. It takes around 65 kms to go round and it is better to hire a car for half day (available thru hotel). Excellent playing area (equipment available for cricket, badminton, volley ball, chess, carom, table tennis, ... and is in good condition), boating,.... Excellent people/staff

Worst Experience: None. Minor: Lights are bit dim. Directions to anandvan & bhandardara are poor. Very few road signs. you feel you are getting lost while going.

We had a fantastic experience at the Anandvan Resort and the staff were courteous and helpful.
