Overall the experience was OK to money we pay during off season. The location is 3kms away from Lake, so the hotels, parks, leisures, etc. Can't go out with a family in dark as it is remote place.

Best Experience: Though the power supply was not there, the people helped us to get boiled hot water from kitchen to take shower, which helped us to start for sight seeing witout wasting time

Worst Experience: Some bachelor group conducted camp fire and had drinks which totally disappointing where our family and other families stayed at the same time. But they cleared before 10pm, which is OK.

I booked this place after seeing the reviews online bt was seriously disappointed. Went there with my family but everyone eas disappointed. Located on Pagoda point this is 3 kms frm the lake and the stretch is very deserted. And if you don't hv ur own vehicle thn don't go there. We had to wait fr 30 min just to get the good knight coil. you hv to send them n number of reminders jst to get a glass of water also. Very inefficient service.

Best Experience: The check in was smooth...apart frm tht nothing worth mentioning

Worst Experience: the room service was pathetic as there was only 2 staff(young boys) to look after everyone and if you dont order ur brkfast before 0830 thn no brkfast!!! THe resort is far frm the centre...all in all not recommended

The hotel is simply superb. nice location and have pleasant stay. But it is located out of city that is the draw back. Room service and rooms are good.

Value for money accommodation. Service was poor since there was delay. Food quality average but expensive.

I stayed at MM Holiday Inn, Yercaud for three days from 13th to 15th May 2011 with my wife. As I was looking for a calm, quiet and decent accommodation away from the hassles of the mad holiday crowd I chose this place and made my bookings a month in advance from Chennai by making a booking payment of Rs.1000/-. Mr.Neethimon, the manager of the Inn, was all helpful to make the bookings and guided me right from Salem city to reach the place safely and comfortably. MM Holiday Inn is located around 2.5 Km from the Yercaud bus stand on the way to Pagoda Point, an important visiting point in Yercaud. If you are looking for an imposing structure, with a basement car parking, shopping mall, and lot of crowd you will be disappointed. The inn is placed next to a coffee estate and surrounded by greeneries to fill your lungs with unpolluted clean air full of oxygen. I stayed in a self contained single room meant for double occupancy with a comfortable sit out and western style toilet. The room equipped with a double cot bed, a Cable TV, comfortable closed cup boards and two chairs. The room was kept fresh with newly changed bed sheets and pillow covers. The inn has a Canteen to serve you tea or coffee around 6.30 AM in the morning. The Chettinadu style of vegetarian breakfast of, idly, vada, poori, dosai, pongal and uppuma served around 8.45 to 9.00 AM adequately answers to your taste buds without affecting your stomach. Similarly the Veg/Non.Veg dishes served for lunch and dinner are good. Special requests for milk at night are attended to without fail. The food rates are moderate for their quality and I paid it without grudge. The cook Mr.Somu catered to our requests for night dinner Chapathi and Dhal without garlic. The staff at the inn were willing to listen to meet my requirements and made my stay comfortable. I will be very happy to visit and stay over there again. A.Jyothi mahalingam
