Hotel Khems Reviews

Overall the stay at Hotel Khems was average. The room was good with TV with all channels. The bathroom was a mess with stains everywhere. The water from flush pipe was leaking. Hot water is available is available only in the morning for 3 hours.The staff was courteous and helpful. The food was pathetic, especially the chapatis were as hard as papads.We had dinner twice but were not satisfied. The quality of food didn't the cost.The Hotel is situate on a narrow steep gradient lane, where maneuvering of vehicles is very difficult. The Hotel has parking place only for 5 to 6 vehicles. Rest all vehicles need to be parked on the narrow lane itself, inviting dents and scratches for m other moving vehicles.

We were here between 13th to 15th april. everything good. Value for money and good service. staff polite and rooms clean.

When I booked the room, I did not expect the room to be so dirty. The room was missing basic cleaning. The bathroom was big, but not well maintained. A semi open door was there in the bathroom with pipes going behind it. The toilet was dirty, perhaps cleaned once a month. Thanks to my advanced booking with all money paid, I could not shift to someother hotel. The hotel did not even provide a toothpaste which is something you expect when you are paying that much.

Worst Experience: The worst part was, during the evening, the receptionist asks me to take my car out from where they had asked me to park because their MD will be coming. It was the rock bottom of my frustration... Tips for anyone going to ooty: dont book in advance, at least dont pay full money in advance, go their check the room, then only check in. There are plenty of options. Just look around there.

Good place to stay. Excellent service & good room. Staff are very polite and accommodating to all requests.

OOTY is one of the best hill station down south. People at the front office are very impressive, they very well know to handle the customers and situations. quality of food was not that great, lot of improvement is required. Rooms are not that clean and service is ok. can be improved.
