Overall, stay in Ozone Valley Resort was good and in the month of. Staff service was friendly and helpful. I ate food in the resort was good in taste and quality and homily foods were served. I had been there in the month of June- 2015....it was late monsoon time. Still we had a great time. As we went there we were welcomed by the manager Mr. Sampath, who was very friendly. Later our lunch was prepared within 30 mins of arrival. Very good Menu.....loved the food esp. the Rasams.......Thanks to the cook Vishwanath and also Priya. They checked with us wrt our taste before cooking. Also Priya was a very nice girl, she gave us some quality groundnuts and also a pepper sappling as gift. We had occupied the front facing triple bedrooms, very neatly maintained except the single bed in both of our rooms. Bed quality was very bad on the single cot but the double cot bed was good. Always talk to them wrt service and also the changes required as they are very open for feedback.
First of all , the owners of this resort must look up Google and understand meaning of the word resort. If you call, Insect infested rooms resort, if you call leaky bathrooms resort, if you call kitchen which has no bowls and forgets spoon resort then go for it .....They have done small innocent mistakes, they forgot to buy clean pillows, buy mattresses and but a thing called Broom ...don't blame them . By the way, their swimming pool is very eco friendly, has just some insects and mould , otherwise they are nice guys , they get drunk and go to sleep by 9 PM. Guests are anyway there to enjoy nature ....Small fee for this experience just 14900 for 9 people for one night ....Be a Man ...Experience Hell at a small fee . PS: Carry your own food, unless you like Salt free food :)

An excellent place to unwind from the hectic parleys of bangalore. The resort is nestled in a coffee plantation owned by the resort manager. Lots of birds, beautiful mountains and absolutely quiet. Good value for money
To be honest it has served as a timely break from the busy schedule back at Bangalore . Especially for a honeymoon couple like ours, it was indeed a fabulous trip. My wife will probably be very upset if i dont take her to this place at least once a year. Its a bliss and a complete stress buster.
The location of the hotel was good and there was no difficulty in finding it. There was sufficient car parking in the hotel. The staff was friendly. The appearance of the hotel was quite basic. The room was spacious, neat, clean and well-maintained. The room did not have a TV or Ac as it was a basic room, the geyser was functioning properly. The hotel provides both Veg and Non Veg food and quality of the food was very good. You could see the forest from your room. The overall stay was value for money. There was no delay in check-in or check-out. The hotel had a swimming pool and some other games also. I would like to recommend the hotel to other travellers. If you are going for a homely stay it is good, but not meant for people looking for luxury. They need to make the approach road better.
very good homestay excellent location and plenty of water falls.even thou we were a bit confussed in selecting the homestays in chikmaglur we finally zerod on ozone coz it was economic and good reveiws but we were happy we finally we made the right choice, coz this place is located in the midts of the tourist zone so we dont have to travel hrs to cover all the places , we liked hebbe, mulangiri, and badra but you will have to be lucky enough to spot animals at badra ,they take you in their open top jeep with packed lunch from ozone , dnt miss the trekk in the property coz thats really cool and wild with some ancient trees around, compered to what other homestays charge and the set up i would prefer ozonevalley and looking forward for a trip next season..
We were a bunch of 5 who initially booked to stay there for 3 days and decided to prolong our visit. We were very very happy to have chosen that place (based on rating/reviews on holidayiq). The resort is located in a quiet place with plenty of greenery all around. I was accompanied by 3 senior citizens who were very well looked after. All in all we enjoyed our stay tremendously and my father is talking about going there every year.
