PJ princess is an excellent hotel/resort. We stayed there for a night on route to munnar. We were two adults and two children. The executive room was huge and extra bed was sufficient and kids enjoyed the stay. Room cleanliness, amenities, size, bath room, view from the room looking towards tree plantations was great. The hotel was secured enough. There was kids play area, a small pond and flower garden which was great.Over all i would prefer to stay again in this hotel in i visit cochin again. We stayed at the hotel on 11 jan 2012.

Stay like a princess with luxury hotel facilities

6.0/7
Posted 20 Oct, 2015

I visited the hotel with my family for one day stay and was amazed to see the way the hotel was constructed and maintained. Spacious rooms with good decor. Excellent service and the cuisines were also tasty and fresh. Right from the Marine Drive crossing the bridges and enjoying the scenic beauty of backwaters and the islands it took about 15 minutes to reach the hotel. If you are visiting the hotel for the first time, just watch for the sign board of the hotel to the left after crossing the bridges and on the way to Kodungalloor so that you may not miss the entrance. On entering the compound to the left is a pool and the hotel staff will be waiting there to guide you. The hotel is in an isolated compound with marvellous landscaping and vibrant illumination. The restaurant offers buffet dinner with a host of dishes apart from the A-la-carte menu. The starters, soups, breads, rices, noodles, chicken dishes, seafood and desserts, the items are many to choose. I like the sweet and sour soup, French fries, mixed fried rice with butter chicken or chilly chicken, fish tikka, pastries with ice-cream and fresh lime with soda. The manager Mr. Andrews was always there when I visited ensuring the comfort of the guests and he is a real professional.

Excellent Stay

6.4/7
Posted 6 Jan, 2016

Had Stayed at PJ Princess Regency for one night with my daughter and my wife. The hotel is very good with clean rooms and a nice little swimming pool. They also have a small pond for pedal boating. Upon check-in, We requested the lunch to be served in the room and the service was very prompt. The breakfast spread was decent, but the best part was the custom made "puttu" which was accommodated on special request by me. The hotel is located just off the main road inside a residential area in Puthuvype. Fort Kochi is just a 5 min ferry ride away from Vypin Jetty. Autos are arranged on request from the hotel costing about Rs. 80 to reach Vypin Jetty. The Fort Kochi area is very lively with lots of Cafes and art galleries. The beach at Puthuvype is a good walk away from the hotel and was not very impressive. All in all, Worth visiting if available on discount

Amazing location, unbelievable location

7.0/7

This Hotel was a very good example of a basic quality. Especially the cleanness of the rooms and hotel facilities impressed me. The location is unbelievable and the view is amazing worth everything. It is also very close to everything. Staff’s is very helpful and dedicated. The breakfast could have been a bit better however decent enough. The stairs are a bit demanding and need to be careful-for information of who cares about that. The hotel also has a little deck used as a beach in the day and restaurant in the night which is very nice. One night we ate there and it was very romantic and the food was more than acceptable. So I strongly recommend this hotel

Prompt room service and delicious food

5.9/7
Posted 11 Jun, 2015

Before talking about the property and the quality, I would like to focus on something that makes or breaks the staying experience in any place whatsoever, customer service. The floor manager was really thoughtful of our needs and did an amazing work to get us the most comfortable stay possible. She took special care to fit 5 of us in two rooms that were interconnected and that made our trip merrier. Also the room service was prompt, professional and good. The property is quite large with most amenities, the swimming pool though was locked. The rooms were unusually large. There was no view from rooms but the well-maintained garden made sure that you could spend some time strolling around the property. The restaurant was also decent and food was delicious. The breakfast spread was quite satisfactory and they arranged packed breakfast by 5 am for us on the day we left as we had a flight to catch. Overall, a very pleasant stay which compensated fully for the hotel being around 40 km away from the airport. Only advice to travelers is either have a car at your disposal or ask them to arrange one if you are traveling from here to the airport in odd hours, I am sure they will oblige you happily.
