It was my long cherished dream to visit hampi once the state capital of vijayanagra empire....I got information of pathma guest house from hq, directly called there and booked a basic room and sent a mail also....the room was at the ground floor and spacious but the bathroom was too congested. The staff mr sagar was so helpful, he arranged me an auto 4 the whole day almost reasonable rent...luckily I got a driver with some knowledge in English If you are coming with family it’s better to avoid the room at the ground floor, prefer the upstairs rooms. staff and owner is nice people, really you feel a homely atmosphere here
Hampi is a city of ruins. Any one interested in spectacular ruins of an ancient empire has at least 4 days to spare should consider this destination seriously. The Padma Guest House would be recommended for the simple reason that it is cheap, reasonably clean, and situated right in the center of Hampi. Also, pickup will be arranged for a small sum from the bus stop. Food is reasonably good, and you can get something through out the day as arrangements have been made by the owners for provision of food and water there itself. If you need something else, just two houses down the block is a small but excellent hotel where breakfast, lunch and dinner is available. Simple but good! The rooms are reasonably good, and the service is top rate. The owners will arrange for any thing you might need including transportation or your own motorcycle for your entire stay. All you have to do is fill up the tank, and get going. I would recommend that you stay in this place,
Very good, booked 10 rooms on phone, contact details available online, very good hospitality, rooms were very neat and clean. Best value for Money.
Hampi is a good destination and Padma guest house is a decent place to stay .
It was a functional, but clean and simple homely place to stay for two or three days. The food is simple and timely.
It was very good. Everything went on as planned. We have done on-line booking inadvance. There were no issues after reaching the hotel. This hotel is very close to Railway station and it is in the center of town.Hotel people helped us getting the vehicle for sight seeing.
Was abt average because of the access to places is very little, very narrow minded people, if you are a person from todays world, then Hampi is not a place for you.
Frequent change of rooms created problem. But the hotel was situated in the heart of humpi
Quite good. Pleasant people, good ambiance, perfect location. Excellent view of the Virupaksha temple. Helpful and friendly hosts. Any kind of information they provide.

We stayed too shortly in this nice pension. It is located in the centre of Hampi Bazaar, with easy access to transportation, the market, and the temple. The room was clean and functional (if not for the black-outs, which are not the fault of the hotel anyway). The staff were very helpful in arranging tourist activities and in providing a good service to us, including checking that we paid a fair price for our room booked through an agency.
The people are very friendly and awesome. They were very helpful. We reached the guesthouse by bus and the hosts were waiting to pick us up from bus stand which is very near to the bus stand. The room was neat.Really impressed by this guesthouse.
