The hotel is located conveniently and the surroundings were well maintained. The appearance of the hotel was very good and the services given by the staff were very nice. I went for relaxation trip and it was good. The room allotted to me was very spacious with all the basic facilities were in proper working condition. The foods were delicious with lots of varieties. There was no delay during check in and check out process and I recommend this hotel for other travellers.
I stayed here with my family. The staff is very helpful & hotel is close to the main market. Food quality is also good & they also have parking facility. You will find greenery everywhere in the hotel & one can see nice mountain views from hotel. Overall, a good hotel to stay.

I have visited Mussoorie and stayed in Hotel Padmini Niwas in the month of September, 2015 with my family. The Location of the hotel is good. The appearance of the hotel is also good. There was no delay during Check in and Check out. Reception people were average. They did not provide us welcome drink not even in complimentary breakfast. Services of the hotel staffs were good. The foods were average, and they only have veg foods, so we have brought Non-veg foods from outside only. Wi-Fi facilities were there but it was very slow. All basic amenities were available including mini fridge, TV, sofa. Rooms are very spacious, cleaned and well maintained. Rooms were very good. It has central AC. Activities were there in the hotel but nobody is using it. Mussoorie as in destination is good. They can improve their staff services. I would not recommend this hotel to all the other travelers.
I visited this abode with my family. We appointed two Deluxe Suites for one night. And we were abundantly afraid by the allowance quality. No websites action data on their allowance types with photographs so I was a bit doubtful. But if I accomplished there, it was awesome. Both the suites were classy, with fireplace, active area, alteration area, added beds, ample bathrooms and a alcazar like feeling. Hotel is centrally amid on Mall Road. Parking accessible for cars. Auberge agents was able and friendly. Took affliction of requests promptly. Abundant plus. Restaurant prices are reasonable because we are at a day-tripper place. Free Wifi was great. Auberge has acceptable lawns and outdoors with acceptable benches and chairs. Food was actual good. We had cafeteria and breakfast for 5 people. And the absolute we paid was just Rs. 1200! And aggregate was beginning and delicious. Location is a big big advantage. You ascend some 90 meters from the auberge and you're on the Mall Road. Even the auto angle is at a walking distance.
Top Reviews of Padmini Nivas Hotel
I had searched a lot on internet for the best Hotel to stay while in Mussorie. I found very positive ratings for this particular hotel Padmini Nivas. After almost a search of 2 weeks, I finalized to book a Deluxe room on MAP basis at hotel Padmini Nivas. It was a wonderful stay at this Hotel and I would love to be there every time I am in Mussorie. the room in which I stayed had a great seating area, with view of mussorie valley. Outside the room was a common area, which looked very royal with \'fireplace\' and a large LCD TV in place. Overall it was a great Heritage experience for me and wife staying there. It is located bang on Mall road and you can take a stroll in evening upto the end of Mall road near picture palace. Picture palace area is the most happening one in Mussorie, as it has all the latest brand shops with likes of Dominos, Mcdonals etc.
This is an easy referral. We checked in for 2 days and our experience was wonderful. Service: Starting with Mr. Vikram, general manager of the property, the front office and service staff are exceedingly polite and helpful. Any number of room service requests were cheerfully delivered at any time of day. Location: Prime! Calm among the chaos. Situated on mall road but quiet enough with other guests and the occasional troop of monkeys for company. Sometimes at peak hours the road below gets noisy with vehicles tooting horns and police on loud speakers. Ambience: Heritage we were not disappointed. Rooms were neat and comfortable. We had 4 rooms with a connecting hallway. Presumably the connecting doors are closed for nuclear units. Very smart. Things to do: Apart from the sights, the hotel has a games room with table tennis, pool table, carrom, board games and a bookshelf. You can choose to traipse around town or do nothing and spend the day reading and enjoying the salubrious climate. Food: Excellent! vegetarian. Though if you are dying for your tandoori chicken, you can request the waiters to go out and get one for you. Downside: As with 99% properties in Mussoorie there is a lot of up and down in the hotel. Senior citizens should ask for rooms on the reception level. A steep incline from the mall road is an entry for the hotel. Vehicles can enter mall road only at specific times. As we had senior citizens, the hotel very thoughtfully organised a car for them to be dropped on the mall road for departure.
The drive from Dehradun to Mussoorie can enchant any global traveller, with the magnificent lush thick green shivaliks hills giving tough competition to south-France hills. But Mussoorie itself with narrow roads and crowded, less maintained 'popular' destinations dilutes the overall experience. In such a mixed destination, Padmini Niwas just adds some more of the same. As a heritage hotel, it is truly set in old-style, high-ceiling, ornate structure and thus charms a lot of loyal visitors and first timers alike. The view from some of the valley-facing rooms is breath-taking and the view from swing at the entrance, makes the small trek to the mall road from the hotel worth its while. Food and service is not great but the superlative view, the proximity to the mall road and reasonable prices (at Rs. 1800 per room), truly makes it a worthwhile experience.
The experience was wonderful.as the weather was very good and the hotel staff was very cooperative and courteous.they were wishful of listeneing and service was excellent.Rooms were big and very comfortable.Just because the hotel experience was excellent we enjoyed a lot.
we chose padmini niwas as one of my colleagues recommended it who is a regular there....also we did sum research on the net for pocket friendly heritage hotel......and Padmini Niwas turned out to be jst d right choice. It is comfortably located on a ridge near the library on the Mall road.......but once u are there u never feel that u r so near to the mostly crowded and busy mall road....and this is the best part of it. The hotel gives u a sort of cosy, warm and homely feeling which is quite different from the other commercial properties. The small garden outside offers an awesome view of doon valley.....sipping ur coffee here early in the morning was a heavenly experience.....plus for all vegeterians, their restaurant offers amazing food, do try their marwadi thali...u\'ll love it. The staff is very friendly......and co operative. Overall....we got what we expected and i would love to go back to padmini niwas if we ever visit mussoorie again.
