I visited this hotel in month of December 2014. It was very homely and the ambience was very nice. The location of the hotel was good and they provided a complimentary food, the taste and quality was good. The varieties were limited but it was good. They do not have any activities but they have a pool facility and garden. This hotel was located bit interior. We had some difficulty in locating the hotel. The room was well maintained and clean but it was not luxury. This hotel looks like heritage. The tariff for the stay was reasonable. I did not face any delay in check in and check out. The staffs were very helpful and courteous. I would recommend this hotel for other travellers.
It was a actual admirable place. They had a garden with admirable flowers which gives you a nice freshness. Actual nice appearance of the mountains, we could see admirable clouds in the mid of mountains in the aboriginal morning . The aliment was just awesome. Just admired the acceptable aliment like kadamputtu ,papputtu, brinjal fry and the craven back-scratch they prepared. Aswell the homestay humans were actual friendly. They aswell guided us with the places to appointment and aswell gave us maps which had routes to the places. We had taken the arena attic allowance with clandestine balustrade area the allowance amplitude would be acceptable abundant for 2 people. Thanks to Prasad and his ancestors for authoritative this homestay a memorable one for us.
We stayed at Palace Estate, Coorg from November 1 to November 3, 2014. We were a small group comprising 7 members. Mr Prasad, the owner was kind enough to guide us reach the resort (he was in constant touch with us while we were on our way from Mysore although he had provided us with the route map through email..that was of great help). We reached the resort on Nov 1 at 7:30 PM. We had booked 4 rooms in advance. I think there were 7 rooms in total. The rooms were clean and properly done. Soap, towel, blankets were provided, however, it is advisable to carry your own toiletries. When we reached, the home made food was ready (both veg and non-veg in Coorg style). Mr Prasad and his team had laid it out on the dining table in his living room. We sat in the verandah and had our dinner. Mr Prasad was kind enough to explain about the culture and history of that region and also his family background. Since it was dark when we had reached the place, the view was not very clear. But the early morning view of the place was amazing and breathtaking. The resort is in the middle of a coffee estate. Interestingly there is a waterfall close by where we could reach in not more than 10 mins by walk. Later when we returned Mr Prasad told us about the Coffee plantation, different varieties of coffee, how the coffee business works in general and the current challenges faced. After that the hot tea was waiting for us that we enjoyed in the beatifully maintained garden sitting on the hammock. After the tea, we quickly got ready as we had planned a trek to Tadiandamol. Mr Prasad and his wife Vinci, prepared breakfast and also packed Aloo Parathaas for our trek. Prasad also gave us the route map for the trek and explained the details where we could go wrong. The complete to and fro distance for the trek from the resort was 11 Km that we could complete in approx 6 Hr. While we returning from the trek, we called Mr Prasad who made sure hot water was ready for us by the time we reached (generally provides hot water in the morning after 7:30 AM..there are no geysers..there is centralized plant where the water is heated). We came back from the trek at 4 PM and relaxed there. We were served with hot tea in the evening. Some of us also went to see Talacauvery the starting point of river cavery which is roughly 40 km away from the resort. At night we enjoyed the sumptuous dinner. During the stay Mr Prasad also made us try the traditional coffee. We left the resort on 3rd November at 7 AM. We were offered tea before leaving. Travellers are advised to carry basic medical kit, toiletries and snacks item. There are a lot of leaches (because of the climatic condition) so just be cautious...as such there is nothing much to worry...
Expectations were high before visiting this home stay as i had read a lot about it in various travel forums. Me and my family did not get disappointed. Overall the experience was great and may think about visiting again.
Though we stayed for a short period (1 day & 1 night), the experience was Great !!! Excellent ambience; Enchanting garden ; Ethnic buildings ; Beautiful Balconies ; It is Really Re-inviting...
Awesome place to relax with beautiful surroundings. Mr. Prasad the owner was very very co-operative and his whole family did give homely feel. Very down to earth and the way they had maintained the place was good. It was my first homestay experience and they made it memorable.

The place is so far that we thought as we drove up the twisting road that we had made a bad choice. Once we reached the rustic rooms and the beauty of the location convinced us it was the best choice. The host was so attentive and the food was so good that we have vowed to go back
