Hotel Review of Palace Kawardha
Comments: A warm welcome from our hosts the Maharajah and Maharani set the mood for an extremely delightful stay of two nights. We were given the services of the Manager who took us around to some interesting nearby villages. temples and bird watching spots. The food and service were excellent.
Best Experience: We had a superb barbeque dinner in the garden on our final evening. The Maharani had specially prepared her 'piece d' resistance' dish of mutton biriani prepared in an earthenware pot - a local delicacy and delicious! The local dancers were terrific in their colourful costumes.
