I spent two days at Palmy Lake Resort. This was walkable from the center of Alleppey. It's a tree-shaded location. Rooms were very basic but very clean and bathroom had hot water facility. Lovely garden. (Note: A picture taken in this Garden reached more than 100 likes in FB on a single day). Staff wert friendly. And food was decent. Wifi was available on demand.
Being walking distance away from starting point, the resort is in ideal location for Boat house aspirants. The people managing resort were very nice. But the lake of resort was filthy and no television or hot water was available for use. The non availability of food joints nearby is a big disappointment Also with no good amenities, charges of the rooms seem to be on higher side.
This was our first view of such type of back waters almost looking like a sea having many house boats sailing through the back waters. Our,s was the deluxe ac house boat we had a first time experience and we enjoyed a lot. The house boat was very good and well maintained with both the staff well behaved and excellent in service. The food quality provided by them was top class. We purchased the tiger prawn there on the village and took the taste of such delicious and nicely cooked fish. We wil love to visit this place once again. The experience of night stay inside the room of house boat gave us unforgettable experience.
the resort had a peaceful stay. The cottage was simple but clean and comfortable. friendly and helpful owner. breakfast tasted really good and was home cooked. the service was also good. its a great value for money.
The place is very good. Very near to the main boating arena. Best time to travel to Alleppey, I suppose is Rainy season. There are hardly 6-8 rooms only n the resort. Privacy is absolutely guaranteed.Experiencing the rain in the resort is the most amazing of all my tour. Sitting in the verandah and watching rain is very beautiful..!! You can also see foreign tourists in the resort.
it was really nice experience there was boating and a lot of nature around the hotel was really good it was good service and really nice hotel it was brilliant the hospitality of it was good and food and beverage was also nice
