This hotel is well located in sec 28 Chandigarh and the location of the hotel is nice. The frontal view of the hotel is good, very good parking space. The rooms are excellent and comfortable, clean wash-rooms. Service of the hotel is fine, the food and drinks of the hotel is delicious. Hotel staff is very cooperative and courteous. I would like to suggest this hotel to everyone.

I had stayed in Panchayat Bhawan when I got exam for IBPS, as I had no friend in Chandigarh, I was nervous because of exam but when I stayed in this hotel, I got confidence for exam also. Service was awesome. Food quality was good. Next time I'll come to the same place to stay when I will come for holiday.

I visited Chandigarh with my wife and stayed in Panchayat Bhawan. Panchayat Bhawan is a wonderful Hotel/ Bhawan to stay. It has AC as well as cooler rooms. Rooms are not very costly. It is better to confirm your bookings in Panchayat Bhawan because most of the time rooms are booked there. Lake and Rock Garden are also not far away from Panchayat Bhawan.

Overall experience was OK and it also a government guest house. It was not located conveniently, very far from the railway station near the market and was visited 2 times. Visited for office purpose. Rooms were spacious but furniture and maintenance was old and not attractive. Not satisfied with the maintenance. Food was not tasted in hotel. Services which they provided was good. No activities like games was conducted in the panchayat bhavan. Suggest to improve outside and inside interior and maintenance. There was a lot of space in panchayat bhavan, so it can be converted into hotel.

Our experience in this facility was terrible. We had booked 4 rooms through a close relative of the Haryana Bhawan. However, the rooms were not clean, the taps leaked. There was stench of alcohol and cigarette smoke in rooms. Air-conditioner in one room was set at high temperature, and even after repeated requests they did not rectify it (they don't give you the remote control of the AC units). There were staffers sleeping cots near elevators. The man who came to show us the rooms was drunk.Families and couples should not stay here.

Best Experience: There is no best experience to highlight.

Worst Experience: Televisions did not work. Finally, I spoke to the manager and he promised prompt action. But nothing happened till 5 pm and we checked out.
