Hotel Review of Il Palazzo Hotel
Comments: I had previously visited Panchgani 4 years back. Though I was not staying at Il Palazzo, I had had dinner there since I had heard of it great Parsi food. I was pleasantly surprised to see Aamir Khan and Rani Mukherjee sitting on the hotel verandah. They were staying in Il palazzo during the shoot of The Rising.

When I revisited Panchgani in Sep 2007, I booked in Il Palazzo for the stay. Though the hotel is very old, the rooms are neat and tidy. The place is nice for a laid back vacation.

Guess what! I saw Aamir Khan this time too at Il Palazzo. He had come there to pack his dinner. Was he staying in Il Palazzo? Nope. Now he has his own bungalow in Panchgani - but he still gets food from Il Palazzo!
Best Experience: Food is really special! If you enjoy non-veg food, then this is heaven.
Worst Experience: Hotel had a central boiler for heating water for bathroom. If your room is at a distance then you need to waste a few buckets till you start getting warm water.

Hotel Review of Il Palazzo Hotel
One of my all-time favourite places to stay in Panchgani! The ambience is that of old-world charm complete with huge king-sized beds, high ceilings and warmth of the people there. The staff is courteous and prompt too. It's almost like a step back into the time when life was a leisurely experience to be savoured. I have already been there twice in six months and will definitely be going back for more!!...

Hotel Review of Il Palazzo Hotel
The place was GREAT!!! Its the best place if you just want to unwind. Don't expect too many activities. Though the resort has a pool & a lot of indoor games. The service is the BEST!!! Its so personal..... Its like having one guy dedicated to you all the time. The ambience is really nice.... Lots of place & the days seem REALLY long .....
