There were 10 of us who went to Goa to celebrate friend's wedding anniversary. From the pictures online, this place looked very beautiful, but when we reached there, we were a bit disappointed with the appearance of this resort.

Paraside Village Beach Resort has a big swimming pool, gym, restaurant so, the amenities were good. The regular rooms (not huts) were just average and clean, but very ordinary. Bed was comfortable and cable was working so, we spent half the day watching Ind vs Pak World Cup.

Staff was fine, but when we asked for liquor, they said there is some problem with their license so, they can't serve us. Food was expensive and not so great so, go to nearby restaurants instead. Don't use the coffee machine as it was dirty and smelt really bad.

Overall, if you stay in the huts, you'll experience a better say and service and easy access to swimming pool.

We visited this place in 2015 Feb and enjoyed to the fullest. This resort's front door is very close to Calangute market and back door opens at beach adjacent to Baga this place offers the calm beach and for people who likes to admire the beauty of nature. Food is also very good with a fascinating too.

The positive things first. The resort had a nice ambience and set up resembles some French village. The room blocks looked great from outside. The pool and dinning area are great. So is the reception. The best thing was the resort has a direct access to the beach. The food was also good and tasty. On the negative side the interior of rooms like size, bed, facilities, bathroom were way below expectations. It seemed as if the room belongs to some 2 star motel and not a resort.

Overall, It was a good hotel. Location was the best part of this hotel. There was no problem to find out the hotel. It was located very far from Airport. It was around 45 to 50 mins away. Beach was available in surroundings of the hotel. No shopping mall was there. Hotel's staff was okay-okay by nature. Appearance wise, hotel was okay from outside but from inside it was not that much good. Interior was very outdated there. Cleanliness was also not there. Bathroom was very dirty in the room. There was no problem in check-in and check-out time. Food was available there but we took food from outside. Restaurant was available on the Calangute Beach. Swimming pool and other activities were present there but we did not utilize them. Car was arranged by me for sightseeing. Booking was done through my friend. Room was okay-okay. No special view was available from there. It is a very huge property but they did not maintain it very well. TV, AC, geyser, and other normal amenities were provided in the room. They all were in working condition. They should take care of cleanliness and improve the interior. I stayed there for three days with friends one year before. Goa is a very good place and value for money. I have gone there many times. Garden was nice there.

Complimentary breakfast they served and it was nice. Price wise, the food was reasonable. Outside and inside of the hotel was well-maintained. Room, washroom, pillow and other things were in clean condition and in fact they were taken care of on a daily basis by the room staff. Services were good. Nothing was available in activities like swimming pool, etc. My stay there was fine. Location wise, the hotel was located on the beach. I visited there with my family. They did not organize any sightseeing trip for us. Calangute as a destination place is fantastic. Money wise, the hotel was little bit costly.

Location wise the hotel was very good. The hotel was conveniently located. The experience was nice in the hotel. It was 5 minutes away from bus stand. Surroundings of the hotel were peaceful. The staff were helpful and friendly, they were quick to attend our requests. Appearance wise the hotel was heritage. I didnít see any activity. They didnít organize a sightseeing trip. They didnít have†a restaurant†in the hotel so we had food from outside. The room was quite spacious. All the amenities were in working condition.†The suggestion†is that they should have a restaurant facility in the hotel.

It was a beach resort and it had a beach entrance. From their lawn, we can go to the swimming pool. It was a beach property. They had villas basically. It was not difficult to find this resort because the location was convenient. They also provide pick up and drop facility. There was some delay during check-in time. Staff was friendly and helpful to me. Room allotted to us was neat, clean and well maintained. They provided all the basic amenities in the room. We had food in the resort. Quality, quantity and variety of food was nice. It was value for money.

Activities like swimming pool, gym, and sports complex, indoor and outdoor games were there. We face no difficulty to find the hotel. The hotel was conveniently located. It was near to beach. The experience was very good. The staff in the hotel were hygienic. The interior and exterior of the hotel was very beautiful. The room was spacious, neat, clean and well-maintained with all the amenities were working properly. I had no view from the room. The food was average. They provide both veg and non-veg with many varieties. I did not find any delay in check-in and check-out procedure. They organize sightseeing trip on requests. I will definitely recommend this hotel to others. The hotel was value for money. Wi-Fi facility was provided. Suggestion is that they should replace the old TV to new one.

It is good to go Goa post November mid but based on some date issues and availability of flight tickets, we decided from 7-10 for 3 nights, 4 days and yes almost all the hotels/resorts etc.. on beach were going full or either very expensive. My company has corporate tie up with this resort on beach called Paradise Village Beach Resort and we asked for two cottages in 1 months in advance. They confirmed only 1 and told on the date of check-in, they shall provide one more. The day we checked in, resort was full of guests and they promised to give extra set of mattresses with new cottage next day which never happened. In spite of readiness to pay 5K per night, we had to beg them multiple times in a day even next day and they neither gave room nor confirmed they can not give. They kept making us in awaiting mode. We were 5 adults and 2 small kids so any ways we had to book extra rooms outside from first day but it killed our overall family outing experience. Based on my overall experience of stay, services, reception people interaction and response on multiple requests, it was just pathetic. Do not go there. Service was horrible and maintenance staff were hardly 2-3 folks amongst all rooms. Room service of house cleaning comes by 3-4PM only. Dark bathrooms with no good accessories, no napkins or door mates (I had to ask on request), No ventilation, no proper lighting even in sitting room of cottage, mosquitoes, power issues, very poor quality bad old dirty extra mattresses (for kids/guests) etc... made my 3 days stay in a waiting mode to get over. Cottage to Beach distance was OK still around 500 metres I would say. The one nearer to beaches were more expensive and will get disturbed due to loud music and once a week karaoke event in restaurant. Also beach was not visible from either. One has to walk till beach and access was allowed from their premise only till 7 PM maximum. Food in the restaurant was good and that was the only part we all liked. Swimming pool was good but beware on the deeper side of the pool if you are in the infancy stage of learning. In short, if you are planning to have decent bit luxurious experience on beach of calangute, I will not prefer hotel paradise village. Please avoid going there if you are oriented about quality of service, room interior and even pleasant vacation.

It was just before the peak season so we got the booking at Paradise very easily. Its located at Calangute Beach at the heart of Goa. Pool at the resort was not working as maintenance of same was going on. Bed was okay. Staff behaviour was nice but when comes to any service there were extremely slow and very late services. If you want to enjoy holidays but don't care about services, you can prefer this one.
