Fantastic resort which makes your stay memorable

5.4/7
Posted 21 Sep, 2014

Let me begin by saying that if you wish to visit Goa, and also stay away from the entire touristy crowd at Calangute, Baga, etc. Park Hyatt Goa is the place to be! My buddies and I travelled to Goa to spend the extended Labor Day weekend. It was every bit relaxing, and gave us the perfect escape from the work schedule madness. We had reserved 2 Park Suites for our group of 6, so the hotel had arranged for 2 separate vehicles for our pick-up from the Dabolim airport. We got an Innova and a Honda-CRV, both of which were in very good condition and the driver was very courteous. Front-desk appeared to be a bit slow and took about 10-15 minutes to check us into our suites despite attending to very few people at the time. Perhaps that is by design, to allow guests to sit down, get a welcome drink (coconut water was perfect for a summer afternoon), and settle into the relaxed pace of Goa. The suites were amazing! The pictures on the website do not do full justice to the great quality of the Park Suite. The living area was very spacious, and the balcony extended from the living area all the way to the bedroom area makes for a perfect spot to grab a few drinks. The sunken Bath tub / pool were also very unique. Definitely recommended for couples on a romantic getaway (wink wink). The dining area has about 4-5 restaurants / coffee shops all in one area. Breakfast could get a big maddening as the seating area does not have table numbers. It happened multiple times during our stay that we ordered for an Omelette, Pancakes, Coffee, with one server and he is nowhere to be found for the next 15 minutes. And when you ask about your order to another server in the area, and he would have no idea about your order as there is no easy way to tag orders to tables (wonder why such a resort wouldn't implement such an easy fix to this common problem). The best part of the resort is the pool area which is basically 3 different pools connected to each other. In the summertime, this is absolute bliss. This is one of the USPs of the property. The resort also has a private beach, which has drink (and maybe even food) service from a bar located just outside the beach area. We noticed a few group activities being organized by the resort, which I believe is indicated to the in-house guests through notes under the door each morning. But we did not get to try them out. Might be worth a shot in case if you are travelling with kids who might participate in such group activities. All in all, this is a fantastic resort to spend a weekend at be it a romantic trip with your significant other, a family trip with your loved ones, or a chill-out trip with a bunch of your buddies. Despite a few things lacking here and there, I would still highly recommend Park Hyatt for the amazing resort that it is.

Nice outdoor dining and wonderful location

6.5/7
Posted 12 Jan, 2015

This was a GHP redemption stay of 3 nights for my family. This was our first hotel stay in India, after having moved from the US. So we were excited and nervous about what to expect But the Park Hyatt staff and the property laid all our fears to rest. Right from the check-in process, to the rooms, the location, and the food. Everything reeks luxury in the hotel. The welcome drink of fresh coconut water was a great touch. Check-in and check-out were smooth. The location is wonderful for a peaceful stay away from the hustle-bustle of the North Goa beaches. The beach is wonderful, and stretches for miles on either side of the resort. The resort pools are great for lounging on warm days. The food was perfect, ranging from continental buffets to authentic Goan to Italian. The cookies with the coffee were a great touch. The staff made sure we were given ample attention each time we dined there (and we dined at the resort for every meal). Each time the staff would surprise my 3 year old with some dessert !! The best part was you could sit in an outdoor dining area and order from any of their restaurants All in all, a fantastic stay. Without doubt, one of the best stays of our travels so far.

A good holiday experience

5.6/7
Posted 4 Nov, 2016

This October me and my family visited Park Hyatt Goa to celebrate my daughter's birthday and also to have a very short break. The best thing about this property is its closeness to the airport. We reached within 30 minutes. The staff was very warm and gave us a great welcome. A staffer, Elton, was of great help in providing information about the property and the activities . The resort has one of the largest pools and is absolutely awesome. The room which we booked was a Lagoon View room, which I felt was a tad small. The restaurant was good and the food was good though I believe they should introduce more varieties . Since we didn't venture out of the hotel and only when to the private beach of the resort things were comfortable for us . Overall a good experience.

Staff response is normal, good environment

5.3/7
Posted 27 Dec, 2014

They had a private beach. The location of the hotel was good and it was easy to find it. It was far from the railway station. The atmosphere in the hotel was very nice. The surroundings of the hotel were good, neat, clean and well maintained. The interior and exterior of the hotel were very good as they had maintained it well. Services provided were okay. Staff response was normal. The room was spacious, Pillows, bed sheets, and blankets were clean. Amenities in the room were all fine. There was a beach view from the room. Food served was good but it was not reasonably priced. They didn't have enough varieties for vegetarians. There was no problem in check-in and check-out process. They had a few activities in the hotel. They should be able to manage the crowd during the check-in time.

Lovely hotel with clean room and helpful staff

5.7/7
Posted 17 Aug, 2015

Enormous and lovely hotel. Everything is delightful, all around kept up, exceptionally green. Ocean tender and quiet before lunch, at night the waves, yet decent, warm. Shoreline awesome. The rooms are clean, and big with balcony. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Swimming pools on distinctive levels associated by little water slides. They also provide free yoga classes and some other classes as well. The spa service is nice but it is costly. The breakfasts in the inn are great. Fruits, cereal, juices etc. Free sunbeds at the pool a considerable measure. Sun beds are great. In the morning covered towels and one is for wiping. Towels are great quality, on the off chance that you require all the more, then give no issues. Warm ocean. Exceptionally decent to flounder. Dolphins swam two or three times. The lodging is far from the towns.

Good hospitality and staff

6.3/7
Posted 19 Feb, 2016

Had a very relaxing weekend break. The weather was fantastic and the hotel was amazing. Ambience, overall hospitality, exquisite services efficiency, and very friendly staff made our week stay delightful. Enjoyed the food that was served at the beach and the breakfast buffet. Had lunch and drinks at the Palms. Excellent cocktails and great salads. They had organized helicopter rides for all couples. For an extra cost of course. Will definitely come back again. It looks to be child friendly as well. We were looked after very well although we were one too many. But looking at south Goa coastline from the sky was divine.

One of the best luxurious hotels in Goa

6.3/7
Posted 21 Dec, 2014

Park Hyatt Goa was a massive property and my stay here in August this year was extremely pleasant. Goa's Dabolim airport was 45 minutes away by car, and the drive actually takes you through Goa's narrow streets, which goes to say that its scenic. My room was towards the Lawn side of hotel, which I highly recommend as the view is pretty relaxing (see photo). More than the room, I was a huge fan of the Bath, which was a traditional Goan style (Portuguese derived) shower. Apart from this, the room was pretty standard fare for a 5-star hotel. Extremely courteous staff, especially when you consider that you'll get lost inside this hotel thanks to the sheer size. But thanks to the size, the staff were a bit slow in reacting to your in-room requirements. Would like to see this improve in the future. Food can be described Good, but not spectacular. Don't go with super high expectations, especially vegetarians. Park Hyatt Goa also had a Spa, which I couldn't use during my stay, so I can't comment on it. On the whole, I recommend Park Hyatt Goa to anyone looking for a luxurious stay in this city.

Good service and friendly staff, made me felt welcome and helped me out of all I need. Their receptionists gave recommendations to you for restaurants, spas, car services and etc. If you're looking for a place to chill and relax, a little getaway from the city, this is a good choice of hotel then. It was awesome staying at. Beautiful resort, got everything anyone will expect from a resort. Wonderful service oriented staff. Excellent room with the view of golf course and lawns. Nights were more beautiful with all those lights across the resort. Delicious food and excellent service at the restaurants. Overall had a wow experience !!

Over all a good hotel

Best hotel, awesome view, we entered hotel at 5am, it was such a awesome view, artificial lakes with lighting, wow was the first word we uttered. Since I dint carry camera, I missed nice pics of this view. Hot water pool, attached to big pool. Play area. And to do night outs ultimate. Beach side cots, but watchmen over there don't allow to use beach bench beds that's the negative thing. About food, we dint get much variety of non veg items all 4 days same items, and breakfast was pretty okay. Not such good. People who like western cuisine, they might feel good with food. But there is no much Indian style. Rooms are awesome. No second thought in it. Over all a good hotel.

Amazing properties with good amenities

5.8/7
Posted 6 Mar, 2015

Goa has amazing properties, but none like the Park Hyatt. Just like other hotels it has a private beach, but the span of the beach has been maintained well. Property has some amazing lawns and open spaces within, which allow banquets, open place dinners and mini golf sessions and cricket Amenities like Jacuzzi, games are top class like in a 5 star property. The swimming pool has to be the star attraction- both in terms of size and location within the hotel. The hotel has some amazing restaurants- varied food, impeccable taste. Even the Gian delicacies are top notch, beating some of the local eateries for taste and authenticity Park Hyatt is characterized by the Hyatt service standards. The hotel maybe heavy on the pocket, this is not definitely for budget travellers. You may want to go to close by eateries should you need to taste the local cuisine.

Great resort for families, spectacular food & pool

6.6/7
Posted 21 Sep, 2015

Stayed at the resort towards the end of the monsoon seasons and boy did we have an awesome time. We got lucky with the weather and were blessed with sunshine for 4 days. I have been going to Goa for 15 years but the desolate, beautiful, golden pristine beaches adjoining the hotel were a sight to see. While the hotel beach shack was closed they still face towels and the guards and lifeguards endured a good time at the beach even though it wasn't possible to venture much into the water on account of rough seas. The food in the restaurants they have is amazing. We had a 13 month old baby and the hotel staff would give hot porridge khichdi Paratha at any time and also helped in cleaning baby boxes and sippers They have three level of swimming pool with slides between them and an open air Jacuzzi. You can laze by the pool for hours and get great service from the pool bar. The only area for improvement is the housekeeping staff and room maintenance.

Joyful place to make a stay

This is an excellent place to stay with a private beach. The hotel spans over a large area and limited to 2 storey ed. Rooms are comfortable and in all aspects of the hotel can be considered as of very high standard. The pool is very large and is really beautiful. Every room has a private balcony. The bathroom tub is really big. Good and enjoyable place to stay.

Splendid holiday at Hyatt

6.8/7
Posted 15 Dec, 2015

Goa, has always something great to offer and this property of Hyatt is just great! Huge lush green property with amazingly decorated rooms just perfect for its 5 star credit. I would suggest to have their breakfast at room, am sure you will feel like waking up as queen in the royal family. The breakfast came with huge trolley with 3 Indian breakfast items plus 4 continental breakfast items juices and many jams and fruits. It was raining when we checked in so we had to wait to go to their private beach. And it's very much private I would say. Food quality is very good with good preparation of Goan sea food but on expensive side! Swimming pool, gym and spa the best in the Goa and definitely you don't feel like leaving the property for any reason. Waiting to visit again!
