Let me begin by saying that if you wish to visit Goa, and also stay away from the entire touristy crowd at Calangute, Baga, etc. Park Hyatt Goa is the place to be! My buddies and I travelled to Goa to spend the extended Labor Day weekend. It was every bit relaxing, and gave us the perfect escape from the work schedule madness. We had reserved 2 Park Suites for our group of 6, so the hotel had arranged for 2 separate vehicles for our pick-up from the Dabolim airport. We got an Innova and a Honda-CRV, both of which were in very good condition and the driver was very courteous. Front-desk appeared to be a bit slow and took about 10-15 minutes to check us into our suites despite attending to very few people at the time. Perhaps that is by design, to allow guests to sit down, get a welcome drink (coconut water was perfect for a summer afternoon), and settle into the relaxed pace of Goa. The suites were amazing! The pictures on the website do not do full justice to the great quality of the Park Suite. The living area was very spacious, and the balcony extended from the living area all the way to the bedroom area makes for a perfect spot to grab a few drinks. The sunken bath tub / pool were also very unique. Definitely recommended for couples on a romantic getaway (wink wink). The dining area has about 4-5 restaurants / coffee shops all in one area. Breakfast could get a big maddening as the seating area does not have table numbers. It happened multiple times during our stay that we ordered for an Omelette, Pancakes, Coffee, etc. with one server and he is nowhere to be found for the next 15 minutes. And when you ask about your order to another server in the area, and he would have no idea about your order as there is no easy way to tag orders to tables (wonder why such a resort wouldn't implement such an easy fix to this common problem). The best part of the resort is the pool area which is basically 3 different pools connected to each other. In the summertime, this is absolute bliss. This is one of the USPs of the property. The resort also has a private beach, which has drink (and maybe even food) service from a bar located just outside the beach area. We noticed a few group activities being organized by the resort, which I believe is indicated to the in-house guests through notes under the door each morning. But we did not get to try them out. Might be worth a shot in case if you are travelling with kids who might participate in such group activities. All in all, this is a fantastic resort to spend a weekend at be it a romantic trip with your significant other, a family trip with your loved ones, or a chill-out trip with a bunch of your buddies. Despite a few things lacking here and there, I would still highly recommend Park Hyatt for the amazing resort that it is.
Stayed at the resort towards the end of the monsoon seasons and boy did we have an awesome time. We got lucky with the weather and were blessed with sunshine for 4 days. I have been going to Goa for 15 years but the desolate, beautiful, golden pristine beaches adjoining the hotel were a sight to see. While the hotel beach shack was closed they still face towels and the guards and lifeguards endured a good time at the beach even though it wasn't possible to venture much into the water on account of rough seas. The food in the restaurants they have is amazing. We had a 13 month old baby and the hotel staff would give hot porridge khichdi Paratha at any time and also helped in cleaning baby boxes and sippers. They have three level of swimming pool with slides between them and an open air jacuzzi. You can laze by the pool for hours and get great service from the pool bar. The only area for improvement is the housekeeping staff and room maintenance.
This is an excellent place to stay with a private beach. The hotel spans over a large area and limited to 2 storeyed. Rooms are comfortable and in all aspects of the hotel can be considered as of very high standard. The pool is very large and is really beautiful. Every room has a private balcony. The bathroom tub is really big. Good and enjoyable place to stay.
Goa, has always something great to offer and this property of Hyatt is just great! Huge lush green property with amazingly decorated rooms just perfect for its 5 star credit. I would suggest to have their breakfast at room, am sure you will feel like waking up as queen in the royal family. The breakfast came with huge trolley with 3 Indian breakfast items plus 4 continental breakfast items juices and many jams and fruits. It was raining when we checked in so we had to wait to go to their private beach. And it's very much private I would say. Food quality is very good with good preparation of goan sea food but on expensive side! Swimming pool, gym and spa the best in the Goa and definitely you don't feel like leaving the property for any reason. Waiting to visit again!
One of the best resorts i had ever been. I ve been to a lot of places and stayed in a no of big hotel chains but till date this is the best one. Check inn was super smooth without any delays. Staff was very corteous, But the best part Resort in itself is good enough so you dont need to go out.
