Amazing destination for anyone interested in Tibet and the unique form of Buddhism practiced there. Magnificent monasteries perched on mountainsides and ancient meditation caves set in a stark and awe-inspiring landscape that truly is the roof of the world.

Hotel Review of Park Woods
Comments: Overall experience was very enjoyable. The ambience and the weather were complementing each other. We had some apprehensions about the accommodations, but once we settled into the Bamboo huts we were very comfortable. It is a place away from the hustle-bustle of the city. Though the period of October November would be more enjoyable. even April first week was not bad. One caution though, if you are expecting Five star facilities in rustic surroundings, this place is not for you. It suits both extremes - If you are planning to have a restful weekend or if are interested in a bit of roughing up by rock grappling etc. this is the place. Children also had great fun running around collecting pine cones, playing around bonfire.
Best Experience: The staff the service and the food (simple, hot and filling). Our traveling time estimate was wrong and we reached at around 4:00 pm, hungry as we decided it is not worth eating and taking chances with the kids on ghat road. We were served hot food immediately. We forgot our mobile and the Manger was so very helpful and made sure we got it back in Delhi at our home.
Worst Experience: None to mention. Be sure to carry proper foot wear for the location, you can notice from the photos the terrain is bit rough.
