It was a great experience in Shogi this year with family. Parkwoods is a great adventure resort with most humble management. It offers a plethora of activities both for kids and adults and absolutely great food. It is beautifully done and has a rustic feel to it while most luxury amenities are available... One should not miss the picturesque Shogi and if there one must only stay at Parkwoods...

The stay in shimla was a good one in hotel de park. it was Wonderful hotel close but not too close to major tourist attractions. Excellent staff to help you with find the best way to get around and see the city. The food was also excellent. we stayed a relatively large room with a large bathroom & comfy bed.
Spent good time in this hotel, the hotel speciality is that it is situated outside the city , well maintained and all basic facilities are available, the location is convenient to stay and the appearance of resort was excellent, the staffs were very friendly, the food was very good and the food is cooked by the suggestions of the customers, all outdoor activities like rock climbing and all very provided by them, the room and services very good & though no mobile and signals were available, even then we will have good time. Very wonderful world to experience will recommend all to stay in this hotel.
Recenty visited this hotel with my family.. no need to say one of the best hotel in Shimla. Located in a beautiful place with cool and breeze atmosphere .. staff is obedient and helpful. The Naldhera Grand now the Royal Himalayan Club, Shimla was a great Get Away from the Garden City, Bangalore. The Stay, the Hospitality, the people and the Farewell, yes it was sad to say Good Bye. Most of all was the Welcome. Maybe we were fortunate but God takes His loved ones to enjoy nature. And Shimla had all that and more. Sukhjender and his team are well experienced to ensure you have no reason to worry let aside complain. Room Tip: The accommodation was Good, Clean and Housekeeping was at it's best. Gentle and well mannered.Al... See more room tips Stayed May 2011, travelled with family
It's in a low lying area but location is very good. They have cottages and tents with jungle setting. Check in was quick. Hut provided was neat and clean. Staff behavior and services were excellent. Food was very good. They have activities for all.
Hotel was conveniently located far from the city. I visited there by my own vehicle. Staff was friendly with us. Room was average. Geyser was there but it was not properly working. Parking facility was there but it was around one km away from the resort. View of hills was visible from the room. Food was provided by the hotel and its quality was good. Activity like rock climbing etc. was there. No sightseeing trip was organized by them. Look wise, it was good. Check in and check out was on time. It was a destination is average. Location was also average. Reception services were very good. Services were very good. Room was average. Food and drink was good. Activities were very good. It is reasonable hotel. It is recommendable to other travelers. I travelled there with my office friends for official work in May 2014. Room should be little bit clean. View of cottages was very good there.
Overall experience was very enjoyable. The ambience and the weather were complementing each other. We had some apprehensions about the accommodations, but once we settled into the Bamboo huts we were very comfortable. It is a place away from the hustle-bustle of the city. Though the period of October November would be more enjoyable. even April first week was not bad. One caution though, if you are expecting Five star facilities in rustic surroundings, this place is not for you. It suits both extremes - If you are planning to have a restful weekend or if are interested in a bit of roughing up by rock grappling etc. this is the place. Children also had great fun running around collecting pine cones, playing around bonfire.
A very pleasant and relaxing stay with activities, long nature walks away from the crowd. Services at the place is very very good and personalised. They really take care. Very good food. Shimla is very near....for a day trip. A very pretty offbeat place where one can enjoy truly either romantic or with family or with groups.
We were a group of 28 people .we stayed at parkwood during june this year for two nights and three days. it a very quiet place situated between the forest which is great location but little warmer than shimla and it\'s upper surroundings. the staff is friendly, they hav seprate attaindents for seprrate groups. The food is homely but presentation of. food disappointed us. The rooms r good. v did all d activities like rock climbing, valley crossing, repelling etc.even kids nd ladies also did it nd enjoyed a lot.The instructors r well trained nd equipped .v did night trekking also. it was adventures nd thrilling experiance.V had to face some problems also like mosquitoes, muddy water etc. but overall a good exoeriance
Excellent overall experience. The place is secluded from the crowds, very scenic and quiet. Perfect for a getaway from stress and the grind of daily life. Honeymooners delight. Would reccomend it very highly to all lovers of nature who wish to experience the rustic charm of a hill station..
