Just plain crappy and Unsafe. I moved out after the first night and recommend everyone to stay away from this place. The place was dirty and there were insects in the room. When I confronted the staff they got angry and threatened my girlfriend and break my leg. At this moment my only option was to go to the police but the staff and owner blocked my way. I could not leave my girl friend there with these drunk unruly men. After that I said sorry to which they hit me on my head a couple of times which caused bruising. They left us alone after that we decided to leave immediately by climbing the walls.
It may be due to Kalachakra festival season on that time the Paul Guest House service was poor but the owner is good human being, a polite person. Location is average and landscape of guest house is good for medium or average budget. This guest house is OK to stay in Ladakh.
Paul Guest House is very comfortable and budget hotel. Staff members were very cooperative and obedient. I with my family members stayed there from 12th June 2013 to 15th June 3013 and enjoy too much under budgetary travel plan as suggested by guest house staffs. Tea, coffee & snacks were provided in room on reasonable price.
