Perur Patteeswara Swamy Temple is one of the major attractions in the region situated on the embankment of river Noyyal. The revered shrine comprises Golden Hall and figurine of Natraja in the sanctum as chief highlights.
Pillars of the hall are beautifully decorated with carvings, reflecting Dravidian Architecture. The inner structure was built even before exterior mounting by Madurai dynasty during 17th century.
