The experience of the hotel was nice. The location of the hotel was good. The hotel was located outside the city. I went this hotel by my own vehicle. The parking place was available at the hotel. The room was neat and clean. The behaviour of the staff’s was good. The swimming pool was arranged by the hotel. All the amenities were provided in the room. Wi-Fi was not provided in the room. I would recommend this hotel to upcoming travellers. I had visited this hotel to with my family.
The hotel location was convenient at the city. The staffs at the hotel were good and friendly. The service provided by the hotel was good. The interior and exterior appearance of the hotel was good and attractive. The room allotted to me was small and congested type. The room service was regular and on time to time. The check in and checkout process was quick and on time. The food served at the hotel was good. The quality and price of the food was good and bit expensive. There were no activities organized by the hotel. The overall stay at the hotel was good. I would like to recommend this hotel to others.
SABENA was Belgian airline, long form of which was humorously - Such A Bloody Experience Never Again. Same applies to this resort. Approach road pathetic. Property not well maintained. Water park small, only two rides, Crowded. Rooms location is good, clean, no TV, no Fridge. Instead they provide icebox & charge Rs. 200 for it. Bed with bad mattresses. Sleep value 2 out of 5. Logic of having no TV is enjoy the nature. There is nothing you can do after 2PM when the water park closes & you come out to enjoy the nature, there is sewage stink, specially in room. No. 206. Garden not maintained, No restaurant. Only room where they serve Buffet. Food is good but limited variety.
We were a group of 12 people when we checked in the resort. The location is easy to locate and in the backdrop of serene landscape just 2 hours away from Mumbai. I strongly recommend to visit only during the monsoon season when the grass is green and mountains are covered with mist. After check-in, the tea coffee was good. The menu of dinner, breakfast and lunch was north Indian. The food was excellent and at par with a resort expectation. The stay was horrible, the rooms were unhygienic, stinking of mosses and moisture. The beds provided were single beds made of iron and plastic. The bed was so small in size that it was impossible to change the position in night. The bedding was made up of cotton which was stinking badly. Since we dropped in during the monsoon, there were too many mosquitoes, apparently there was no facility of mosquito coil or repellent. The recreational area was super-fun. The rain dance with Hindi peppy number made the atmosphere lively. The swimming pool and rides were decent. Though we didn't try the indoor games, but there was facility of table tennis, chess, carrom, cards etc. I would suggest travelers, carry mosquito repellents with you, insist before booking that you want a fresh bedding and clean room, carry spare power banks as they have only one charging facility in each room. Carry your own toiletries, bed sheets.
We had my entire family with aunts and cousins over for a week for a family function. So we decided to go out for a weekday trip and had a crowd of about 11 people (age range from 20-60) Accessibility: Quite easy to reach and the Resort themselves call up multiple times to confirm how we are going to come and to guide us about how to reach the place. Get off at Karjat station and it's a 15 minutes ride via Auto (Rs. 100 for 3 people) to reach this place. Scope for improvement - Roads are really bad. Nothing the resort can do about it but just a note. Amenities: We had booked a Non-A/C Bungalow which had 3 rooms with 4 beds each and 2 Bathroom/Toilets. The hall and verandah provided was spacious enough for the entire group to play cards/housie/dumb-charades, etc. So no issue with cramping of space. The Amenities were clean and good enough. The place has a lot of trees and flower plants. Good fun to have for people who are interested in botany. Scope for improvement - The verandah lighting is not good enough to sit outside in the cool breeze after sunset. They use yellow CFLs instead of white. It would be recommended to use white CFLs and of higher watt. Also the whole verandah area is beset by mosquitoes by sunset. Another reason you cannot sit outside after sunset. Maybe some odomos or other repellents could be provided by the resort. Things to do here: They offer some indoor games like Table Tennis and Carom. You can also request for Badminton, Football, Volleyball, Cricket and other sports equipment. They have a nice pool with slides for the entire family. This was the best part of the fun we had there, spent close to 3 hours in the pool having fun. They also provide music if you want to dance. Scope for improvement - Some of the sports equipments especially the Carom boards could be better quality/condition. Food: Food was awesome here. Loved to gorge on almost all the dishes. Non-Veg - Chicken dishes were awesome. Also had Jain preparations for a couple of members. Breakfast with poha and omelette was awesome as well. Had loads of it. Scope for improvement - Some of the dishes were oily but they still tasted good. Procedures and Reception: The whole procedure to book and come and payments were pretty simple. Transferred half the money via Net Transfer and paid the rest at the resort via cash. Also the reception and staff were helpful with arranging for rickshaws and giving directions to us. Scope for improvement - The staff respond only when asked something but for sure they fulfil your request if possible. This is after all no 5-star with staff that have undergone hospitality management training. Overall, we had a good time there and were ruing the fact that we had booked only for 1 night stay instead of 2 days and 1 night. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a short vacation near Mumbai and would like to revisit soon. NOTE: No ATM near this place so better carry cash beforehand.
The location of the hotel is just ten and fifteen minutes away from the railway station. No sightseeing or cab facility was arranged. The staffs were professional and very helpful. The room was comfortable and well maintained with all the appliances in good conditions. The food was charming with both veg and non-veg serving dishes in the hotel restaurant. Inspiring games was arranged and also a mountain view was grasped from the room. The appearance was good however the hotel was absolutely worth and the stay was very enjoyable. I am from Mumbai and this was a relaxation trip went along with my friends.
Location: This resort is tucked away at some 7 kms from the Neral station. If you are coming by your own vehicle, please make sure you get the directions right. This resort is connected by a very poor road and chances are that you will have hard time finding the resort. Get the direction properly. If coming by train, get down at Neral Station and catch a Taxi/Auto Rickshaw. Charges would be a good Rs 250-300 and would take some 30 mins. Though the resort can arrange to drop you back to the Nearl station, it’s better to take down the contact no of the driver who dropped you so that he can pick you up once you decide to go back. Resort: The resort is well maintained and has several cottages and tents. Though tents are temporarily closed due to rains, cottages are well maintained with basic facilities like AC, Clean bed and clean linen, TV with Dish TV connection, clean toilets and individual sit out areas. If you are in a big group, ask for interconnected rooms. Activities: We went for the sheer purpose to relax and were not disappointed. You can indulge for hours in the swimming pool. They also have play are for kids. DJ was also playing when I arrived. Though I did not went for it, Music was quite OK. There are indoor games available like Table Tennis, Snooker, Badminton, Cricket etc. You can also walk to the river which is just behind the resort however due to monsoon, it’s advisable to avoid this as river depth could be very unpredictable. Apart from all this, they have a sizable garden and open space for quite time. Food: Food was good. Not too oily
Facilities are not so good, average on food and games. Nice location and whether specially in the rainy season. On an average its a very much average venue for picnic
