The overall experience of the hotel was good. The hotel was located in the city. The room was neat and spacious. The complimentary breakfast was not provided in the hotel. The appearance of the hotel was good. The check in and checkout was not delayed. I don’t have any suggestion for this hotel. I had visited this hotel for official purpose.
Hotel is Good, View is Good. Pros - Free WiFi, Location (Near Main Market, Muountain View From Balcony, Roof Top Dining), Room (Decoration, Clean Bedding), Staff Behaviour, Room Upgradation (From normal to deluxe), restraint (kashmiri Kehwa) Cons - Stairs (100-135), No Room Service.
We chose a superior room and it's completely worth it because of the view from the room... The only negative is that you gotto climb 99 stairs for reaching the main road... Otherwise it's worth the walk.
Overall, the hotel was good and also the staff was responsive and co-operative. Found good HALAL food which is very rare in Michal. Only thing was that to reach the hotel you had to climb down the steps (close to 50-60 steps).
We reached at 11 pm in the night and had a hard time locating this hotel. It's in a dungeon with steep steps and climbing down is cumbersome. The rooms are ok-ish. View from the terrace and the rooms is very nice. The staff is helpful and nice. Overall a good hotel.
Hotel was good. The room was clean. Staff was polite and understanding. The owner is a nice person and he even allowed me to check in before my usual time. It too contains a cafe with a Reading room where you can sit and enjoy your time with books. Overall, experience was nice.
Based upon on line reviews, selected this hotel to reside with my wife for 3 days recently.. It was big disappointment to enter this hotel after going down 99 steps up to entrance and again 25-30 steps to reach my room No 301. I was terribly tired and cursing myself for selecting this room. The room was small and particularly bathroom was very depl....Read More
It's an amazing hotel if you are prepared to walk down & climb up the stairs. Wall art right from the entrance up to the reception is a treat to the eyes. One of the best hotels you can find in McLeodganj. The rooftop cafe and food is really good. You can chill in the cafe all day long. The only issue is reaching it which requires you to ascent or descent a long staircase depending on where you're coming from but the hotel is really beautiful and worth it. It has a very hip feel to it with colourful....Read More

Loved our stay! The Hotel provides a magnificent view of the mountains from the roof tops. And also few rooms. The location is a little off the main road but that adds to the calm and the beautiful view. The market is very nearby. The hotel staff is very hospitable and made no false promises. We were a group of 5 and had pre booked the Hotel and Triund Trek Package online, and were glad to receive everything as discussed. The food is absolutely delicious and the service was quick. Although you can also try nearby food joints like Jimmy's and Baldev's Punjabi dhaba. Newly built, spacious rooms, old building also very well maintained, Courteous staff, pocket friendly. Go for it! If you're planning a trek as well to Triund, try their packages for a smooth and efficient run within a nominal charge.
I visited McLeodganj with my two 10th class school friends for memorizing old school days. The place was soo relaxing / close to nature and the Hotel location and view give you a beautiful water fall sound, and also beautiful cloudy view during rainy season. The Hotel is soo closed to market area and market near the hotel is full with the mountains traditional items. The best part with the hotel is a open mountain tracking area. Advice: The Volvo reach the place in the Morning and hotel will provide the room at 12"0"clock, please solve this problem at the time of booking else you will be in trouble. The Hotel staff will not be able to provide you any snacks or food after 10 or 10:30 in night, please make necessary arrangements accordingly. Take one electric Kettle with you, hotel will not provide you this type of facilities. Try the local food available with the hotel and prefer to take morning breakfast on the top of the hotel. The morning open mountain view of the hotel gives you a really awesome time.
It's an amazing hotel if you are prepared to walk down & climb up the stairs. Wall art right from the entrance up to the reception is a treat to the eyes. Cooperative staff, amazing view from the rooms & good food is all you need, & you surely get that. They take care of all your needs. Best part is that the owner(mr. Javed) himself is personally involved in the management to keep things good. Bathrooms could be better, not much happy with that but because they provide 24hr hot water supply so no complains for that too. The books collection can keep you occupied on a good rainy day to sit & relax in the terrace enjoying the beautiful mountain view. 1 major complaint I have is that the rooms get too noisy is there is movement on the terrace. The staff could not help me on that as the guests have been doing that, but it's was too annoying. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a cozy home stay feel. What it looks like from outside is not to be considered if you have visited the inside. I just wish if I could get one of the amazing art pieces. Keep up the standards & keep improvising.
Hotel location is good, very close to main market just 4-5 min walk, you need to climb around 60-70 stairs to reach, that's not much if you are average fit also. Rooms were very clean and spacious, this was the best part and everything were good. Cons: They don't provide complimentary drinking water, you have to buy a water bottle every time which is 10Rs, more than market price. Breakfast was pathetic, with not much options if you have paid for it along with the room booking. Both the rooms Superior and Deluxe were same except the floor. In fact I found the deluxe one much cooler and comfortable than the superior one. Looking at the price difference, the superior one was not that worth. Few of the staff members were really good and willing to do little extra things to make you comfortable. But few were always willing to trick you to make extra money by providing you false information like regarding the trekking. They will make all their effort to book it from the hotel, which is not required and is expensive too. Wifi does not work. Overall you can stay but do not expect luxury, do not take rooms with breakfast it's not worth, you will get much better food option outside, just take rooms and nothing else.
It is a great hotel to stay, the staff is very good. They also provide packages for Triund Trek. We took a package for 6 people and it was a great experience. Food and the services were also nice. The view from hotel roof top is really nice. I can surely think of going there again. If you are going for the trek, then pre-book your hotel and package because in the peak time it is very difficult to find a place there. The one and only thing that can be a turnoff for this hotel is the stairs that you have to climb to reach the hotel. Rest everything about this place is good. You can surely go for this option.
