Hotel Review of Annamalai International
Comments: I along with 4 Friends and thier decided to Hit pondicherry on the christmas time and decided on this hotel after much delibration and with a hope we have a good time with the family. One of the families had a small kid and other was newly married. Finally we reached pondicherry after a long drive from bangalore. We reached Hotel at 4ish and we were alloted rooms and opening the rooms we are surprised to see that the rooms alloted have twin beds !!. As we are tired we check in , then the process starts of talking to the manager explaining that we have a small kid and newly married couple with us.

Now the manager comes with stories about saying that these are the only rooms available and all of the rooms got allocated to President party who was staying and blabh... . When we ask him if he had to do something of this sort why did he take a booking 3 months in advance ?. What is the use of doing booking. he says he will sort it out on day 2 and the fun goes on.

Day 2 : His arrangement is nowhere in sight and when we go for dinner at night , i see him and ask him about the arrange and he says 5 mins he will be back and vanishes and there is no sight of that person.

Day 3 : In the Afternoon he calls he has rooms avaibale in differnt floors, we explain to him saying that on day 1 i had informed that we would like to have rooms on the same floor, it seems to have vanished from his mind.

Day 4 : We Checkout , with a realisation that they do not understand what the customer needs are , but they provide service as what they feel BEST for the customer NOT WHAT THE CUSTOMER FEELS BEST FOR HIMSELF.

This statement is issued for the fact that you do pay a heavnly price for this hotel, which is really not the worth for the service they provide.
Best Experience: Positive Aspects
+ The Rooms are clean and Tidy
+ Housekeeping guys are pretty decent
+ Located at Central Locality

Worst Experience: Negative Aspects
- Never go to the hotel , if you get an indication that there is a political meeting happening in the City, as we had 2 horrible experience
1. When the room was being alloted , they did not consider the booking period, they gave preferences to president parties, what is the use of booking then ?
2. On Day 3 when Tamilnadu chief minister came to the hotel for 1 hour, the arrangements in the hotel were chaotic and all resident guests were frisked. I have stayed at many other hotels and whenever these events happen, the resident guests are not tortured
- The Hotel Resutaurants are not capable of handling huge crowd, the food is eatable only when you have less crowd.
- Never rely on the booking , we were lucky to get a room, probably next time they might say that someperson xyz came , we do not have rooms.

Hotel Review of Annamalai International
It was a long drive to Nagapattinam District, a good 450 km from Bangalore and travelling with kids meant we need to take a break in between. The usual stop is Tiruchirapalli, but reports of terrible road conditions forced us to look for another road. And the route via Pondicherry was the best option. It was a sudden decision and I was reassured when I had no difficulty in getting my booking in place. Like all good hotels should do, they...
