We started our jurney from Bangalore and reached this place after nearly 4.5 hours.
Not that the place is very far but the roads are at their worst in some stretches..
To reach the place we have to travel around 8-9 Kms from main road, which itself will take around 45 min..

Bheemeswari Day trip - need some info
Hi,
Plan to make a day trip to Bheemeshwari one of the coming sundays (probably 6th of July). Idea is to take my 5 year old son out and give him some experience of nature (instead of being couped up in the city)! I need some info regarding the place:
- What are the activities one can look at for a day trip - plan to leave around 8am and be back by 5pm.
- Can one indulge in activities like fishing, coracle rides, etc independent of the JLR camps, i.e., are there any other operators there for these kind of activities?
- Again, for lunch/snacks, etc does one have to depend on JLR? If so, do we have to inform them in advance?
Will appreciate any info on the above.
