This is one of the hidden jewels. A relatively new place (4 years old), resort promotes Tea tourism and offers innovative recipies. Great variety of food and drink (especially tea). Rooms are nice airy and comfortable. Resort offer various activities and has a decent play room and library. A great combination of heritage with modern amenities. |

does the steam engine toy train run from kurseong to darjeeling. if yes how much time does the journey take and what's the cost. is it possible to book a ticket for the toy train journey from delhi? if yes how does one do that?
i am planning a 10 day trip with my daughter and the itinary that i have in mind. delhi to n.jalpaiguri. take toy train to kurseong. stay for two days. take toy train to darjeeling. stay for two days. take cab to kalimong stay for two days. go to gangtok stay for three days and back to delhi.
does it sound too hectic or is it doable. if i've to drop one location out of all these which one should it be? |
