This hotel is completely value for money. A decent 3 star. The staff and the owner is more than warm and humble. Its located in the main bazar, almost everything(ATM, Market, Restaurants, Air line offices, Medicine shops etc.) are on walking distance. They have their own cyber cafe.

Good interiors, spacious bathroom & excellent service, this is what I will say if you ask me our overall experience at Rafica. After checking out 2 – 3 other hotels in Leh our driver Alibhai led us to this place whose owner was a friend of his. We were showed two rooms Normal Room (Ground Floor – Rs. 700) |

DO I NEED TO TAKE ANY SPECIAL PERMISSION FOR DRIVING MY OWN VEHICLE FROM DELHI TO MANALI , LEH AND THEN TO KASHMIR. WOULD ALSO LIKE TO KNOW FROM WHEN THE ROAD FROM MANALI TO LEH IS OPERATIONAL. Chadar Trek in Ladakh
Dear Sir,
I am interested in Chadar Trek in Ladakh in December/January. I will be thankful if you can guide me but not from net as that gives only itineraries. It is a tough trek and I want elaborate instructions from experts.
I want to know what kind of equipment we should carry, availability of porters/guides, temperature to be expected etc.
Please treat it as urgent as I am from Sydney and will have to prepare for the trek.
