Overall experience was fabulous....The view and location of this Resort is truly like visiting Switzerland. Neat and clean rooms and very courteous staff. The Resort had plenty of activities for adults and kids alike.... so was a relief to let the kids be on their own.

Delhi to Shimla by road
We are travelling to Shimla from Delhi by road in the first week of June. Although it is going to be a travel agency car with driver, I would like to know and learn from the experiences of anyone who has travelled on this stretch before. How much time does it typically take to get to Shimla?
Kindly share your experiences and provide suggestions about the best time to leave Delhi in the morning, road conditions en route, traffic jams, etc.
Small children will be with us, so most importantly, please advise on which places to stop for eating good, hygienic food and taking quick, short breaks. Any particular places or eateries worth stopping? Thanks. |
