Hotel Review of ASM Hotel
Comments: A hotel situated just 5 mins. from the Airport & also Rs. 15 rikshaw ride from the market. The rooms are recently furnished & we paid Rs. 1000 = 00 per room per night for an A/c Room (which is a must in Port Blair - during any season - we visited during Mid Feb.). Nice clean room with split A/c unit, cable tv & clean bathroom with 24 hrs. hot & cold water & yes nice comfy bed, what else you need in a hotel. We stayed here for 2 nights & one day with major part of our day being spent in exploring the city of Port Blair. Excellent medium budget option to stay in Port Blair.
Best Experience: Manager was very helpful. We wanted one Documentary Cd of Andamans & all the shops were closed & it was our last day in Andamans. I requested him to arrange the CD & there he was early morning at Check out ready with the CD. Also he took Rs. 50 only from us for the CD, the amount the sales man had asked where we actually saw the CD but that was in Hindi & we wanted it in English. On one accassion we asked for drinikng water & it was there in few seconds. The Airport is very close by & you can see runway for the room window.
Worst Experience: No such bad experience.
