Hotel Review of Megapode Nest, Hotel
Comments: This hotel gives very good service and accommodation but I think it is little more expensive. It is near to port and view from the hotel is good. Food is decent again compared to Port Blair standard it is expensive. Rooms are good and clean. One good thing about this hotel is on line booking which make our life easier.
Best Experience: Rooms are very good and spacious. One full day we happened to stay in the hotel because my kid’s health went down. People were very helpful to make kid’s food and care.
View from hotel is very good.
Worst Experience: Credit card swiping machine was not working (it was down for that whole week but nobody took any action). I had to pay by cash.
Getting auto or local transport from that location to city centre is very difficult. We have to walk nearly one Km to catch auto. If you have already arranged your travel plan then there is no need to worry.

Hotel Review of Megapode Nest, Hotel
This resort is certainly the best place to stay in portblair. perched on a hillock the sea facing cottages have an absolutely amazing view of the ocean. there are many beachside resorts where i have stayed, but this was the first resort i have stayed in,..... which gives an ocean view from the top of a hillock. a trip to jollybuoy island is a must. the snorkelling there is amazing, and non swimmers dont need to worry as i myself...

Hotel Review of Megapode Nest, Hotel
I think Hotel Megapode Nest is the best place to stay in Port Blair. Not only Room Tarrif is reasonable but Food is also good & reasonable. The rooms are big & airy. But the cottages are best option to stay as they provide a beautiful view of the harbour. Hotel staff is also courteous though the service is a bit slow....

Hotel Review of Megapode Nest, Hotel
Lush green forests, sandy beaches, fringing reefs, rare corals. Mesmerized specially with Mount Harriet for rare birds and butterflies and Jolly Buoy Island for snorkeling the clouds of colored fish and live corals. Road journey to Rangat was amazing crossing the creeks and dense forest of Jarwa, an extinct tribal...

Serene, secluse islands to visit. Snorkelling in the Jolly Buoy/Red Skin Island or North Bay is a must. Turqoise blue sea, white sand and corals!! Unbelievable among all is to see the aborigines - JARWAS in the reserve forest. Among sea food SURMAI fish is a must to taste....
